Why oh why is Bea/Honey/Billy in on the kidnap business?

Being kidnapped will be another excuse for Honey to be traumatised and bring this up with her family and friends at any given opportunity. With appropriate sad face and wringing of hands, and doe eyes. Will made me laugh, his detective work re Bea was so funny, he’s not a great actor, does gormless well.

I am still just disappointed that they could have given Honey a really meaningful storyline highlighting the struggles women go through with menopause and being taken seriously .. and they’ve turned it into this absolute circus.

Ignoring the Mitchell circus..

We’ve had some name dropping for this wedding…Stacey Slater, Zoe Slater, Junior.

Amazing how Bea lugged Honey’s unconscious body into a car by herself without looking even the slightest bit sweaty or tired.

And sourced a car infact lol

Why did no one think to check the famous hiding place for the missing person, she would only ever have been in the allotments lol

I’m glad they didn’t. It would have been really boring.

I agree they could have done a Honey menopause storyline where she asks Vinny for some time off work and he says no and she is struggling or something like that ! Instead she went for HRT at a private place ( paid for by with a forged credit card ) and had all this with Bea. Although I also agree it’s probably not as exciting as affairs and kidnaps and dodgy car deals etc

It would have been tons better than this crap going on now with her and Bea. It’s not exciting, it’s not funny, it’s not absorbing, and it’s not well acted by everyone involved. It’s just tedious nonsense.

Possibly the wrong call to play Bea, with a different actress it may have worked ?
I liked her at first as someone a bit quirky and also not a relative or with children , but it soon became silly and disjointed and not enough suspense.
Not seen todays one though..

No more boring than what we are currently putting up with but atleast it would have raised awareness.

Today’s is utterly ridiculous, but if you can see past it, the rest of the episode was really good.. we had some nice moments for Amy with Jack and Denzel.. and a few name drops from Max and Cindy.

Denzil and Amy make a nice couple and even Jasmine wasn’t terrible.
I did love how the punters in the pub were all up for the fake memorial ! ‘Oh , ok then it’s not as if we have work to do and we believe you Honey , let’s buy some candles out the mini mart’

The only saving graces were Amy and Jack and Max and Cindy.

The whole Bea thing is bizarre. Where did she get the car? Steal it from the car lot? Are we really supposed to believe she carried/dragged Honey from the allotment to the street? And Honey is totally unconscious and doesn’t move an iota.

Bea hardly looks that strong either, Honey is tall and though slight not petite.

Cindy and Max are two of the best actors in it atm.
I just wish he’d keep his trousers on and stop going after pouty Priya. Cindy is good for him , but he has to mess it up eh ! 🙄

Poor Unny ! The police woman didn’t believe them , she seemed quite competent as well!
I’m glad that Roxy got a mention. I used to like her.

Oh my goodness - I can’t remember the last time EE was so farcical! Really awful writing. What were they thinking?!

A murder investigation over some beef juice splashed about the kitchen…I mean, ffs!

Then Honey back and forth to where Billy, the ‘murder suspect’, is hiding not very well rather than down at the station giving a statement. And filming her ‘honey trap’ in the square, a stones throw from forensics and detectives at the ‘murder’ scene. I don’t suppose the police were at all curious as to why Honey and half the Square were gathered for a vigil?

Nice to see Callum the Copper back on duty. A quick murder investigation between getting on the lash at the Prince Albert / Vic and being one of the many dads Dad of the year to Lexi.

I’m not clear on why Kim won’t visit her sister over the Sheila money thing. Seems completely ridiculous. Just don’t mention it?! It’s the last thing you would be talking to your extremely ill sister about, surely?

Yeah, why isn’t Kim going to see her poor sister?

Kim is such a bungling idiot she thought she'd 'have to' tell Denise about Sheila. As if you would avoid your seriously ill sister for any reason.

I just watched the episode on my laptop so I could easily whizz through anything involving Bea.

They have resorted to using large bags to cover Priya’s bump!

Cindy wouldn’t have magazines, she’d be all over Insta.

I’m not going to complain about Priya and Max because I love them both. Compared with what is going on with Bea and Honey, Priya is Maggie Smith.

I suppose that despite all the glossy wedding mags, the Vic is where Cindy ends up having her reception ( unless it is two weddings on NYD and she fancies something different, if it ever goes ahead.
No, Max can’t help himself even when there’s been a potential murder , it doesn’t dampen his enthusiasm for some illicit nooky with the pouty one. She had a bigger handbag ( to hide her bump ) than Suki usually has on her person.

Whenever this was filmed, it looked chilly so must have been ages ago. We’ve had two heatwaves since.

Bea works part time in the chicken shop and she has rented a quite decent largish car.
They zoomed in on the rental company name above the number plate so obvs they are going to find her and Unny this way.

Absolutely ridiculous that the police have gone straight to murder on one phone call. No body and blood from a beef joint or at most a small injury

She smeared that red current and the beef juices everywhere , even with some of her own blood mixed in the police would be a bit suspicious surely?
Although Walford police are inept , so maybe not!
