Bea works part time in the chicken shop and she has rented a quite decent largish car.
They zoomed in on the rental company name above the number plate so obvs they are going to find her and Unny this way.

Absolutely ridiculous that the police have gone straight to murder on one phone call. No body and blood from a beef joint or at most a small injury

Oh it’s a hire car. I missed that.

the80sweregreat · 06/07/2026 17:56

How she managed to secure a hire car in record time is a mystery isn’t it. Along with most of this storyline.
Priya ends up in the back of car too this week. The writers have been watching too many top gear repeats.

And isn’t Bea broke too? The only time they have people with money issues is when Denise used the food bank or Honey’s credit card fraud by Bea. Otherwise everyone from the very young to older is in Caff’s Caff buying at least 3 quid oat milk lattes. The Minute Mart doesn’t seem cheap and I never see a Deliveroo driver or an Ocado/Sainsbury’s delivery driver on the square.

Meredusoleil · 06/07/2026 19:28

Why didn't Honey tell the police about the fraudulent credit card Bea took out in her name?

the80sweregreat · 06/07/2026 19:36

No, they don’t get any take outs unless it’s the chicken shop or maybe the chippy. Jack went through a faze of bringing home take aways locally , but they never do a big shop at a supermarket or have a take away delivered to them.
They go out for tea and cakes at the cafe and rarely cook much at home. Nicola did a roast for half Christmas, but it’s a rare event.

the80sweregreat · 06/07/2026 19:37

Bea gave honey money for the card in cash. Not sure how much , but she did pay a lot of it back I think.
Honey should have told the police about it though.

Shellingbynight · 06/07/2026 20:00

I did like the scenes with Amy and Jack/Denzil today. She is underused, she's a good actress.

the80sweregreat · 06/07/2026 20:01

Amy is good isn’t she. Very natural.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 06/07/2026 22:58

Ah poor Amy. It’s tough for teenagers to show their feelings.
What was Honey thinking chasing Bea into a dark area. She started out with a good plan.
Mad storyline

Alucard55 · 06/07/2026 23:01

What a nonsense. At what point will forensics come back with the results saying this is redcurrant gravy.

Agree wya PP something isn't ringing true with Cindy being all in love with Max. They met 6 months ago.

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 06/07/2026 23:02

The only decent things today was Amy and Denzil and when Linda was chatting to Honey on the bench.

Everything else was a badly scripted teen sitcom.

Eastie77Returns · 07/07/2026 00:10

The redcurrant gravy/cranberry or whatever it was didn't even look like human blood. Any competent law enforcement wouldn't need to bother analysing it as it was so obvious. But we have idiotic Callum (who has not been seen working for months but is now suddenly on duty) on the case so there's that. Anyway, Billy doesn't need to hide. Just put on Phil's black beanie on to make himself invisible.

Jack's tears do not look remotely genuine. He sounded annoyed that he had to visit Denise instead of Kim, who is out partying at Pride and taking part in fake vigils while her beloved sister is in hospital. Ok.

I actually laughed out loud when Bea popped up in the never seen before car. When her ex threw her out she was on the street with her bags and nowhere to store them but now she has a car. Then dragged Honey's body from the allotment to the square and bundled it into the car without anyone spotting her. All so ridiculous.

Shellingbynight · 07/07/2026 08:06

Whenever Jack has to cry it is obvious that makeup have sprayed on the fake tears! He is not a very limited actor and cannot do that type of extreme emotion. Although I understood why he was annoyed with Kim ducking out of the visit, while he had just come home from a night shift (he's doing some work!)

I didn't watch the Bea stuff but it's amusing hearing the comments!

Southeastdweller · 07/07/2026 08:08

Bea was arrested in today’s episode so that’s that ridiculousness over.

Sharon and Joel are back next week.

I’ve only seen the sneak peek on instagram so far lol … how did she have access to a house? 😅🤣 a house and a 70 plate car, but needed to commit fraud to afford life 🤣 I’m glad it’s over.

Shellingbynight · 07/07/2026 08:17

Thank goodness it's over. And good news about Sharon and Joel. Although of course Joel means more Vicki.

MyWildOliveGoose · 07/07/2026 08:51

I’m sorry but absolutely f’ing ridiculous. Thank god it’s over. I’ll never get that 30 minutes of my life back 🤣

MyWildOliveGoose · 07/07/2026 08:52

The bloody corkscrew 🤣🤣🤣

murasaki · 07/07/2026 11:40

That couldn't have signalled 'wanted to wrap this up very quickly as RA has pissed us off' more if it tried. The text to Will, the corkscrew, the whole thing was ridiculous.

Still, at least it's over.

Basically yes! RA must’ve seriously have pissed off some people for it to be wrapped up this quickly.

i actually thought the kidnap and Kent house scenes were quite good. Just seemed a bit quick Bea haring it back to Walford driving to Elaine’s Peacock Palace.

Southeastdweller · 07/07/2026 12:09

Right from the beginning when she was announced as a new cast member, it was stated RA's stint was going to be a short one.

OP posts:
Shellingbynight · 07/07/2026 12:14

Yes we always knew it was a guest stint (thank god!) It is just an astoundingly bad storyline. Badly written, badly acted.

the80sweregreat · 07/07/2026 12:29

Best bit today was hearing the boomtown rats with ‘rat trap’ Mentions the name Billy.
Great song.

the80sweregreat · 07/07/2026 12:31

Worst bit .. getting over the Dartford bridge to Kent in no time at all! Cool car though Nicola and driving in heels.
Some dodgy acting by the two people who wanted to stay there!

the80sweregreat · 07/07/2026 12:40

I am sensing a love triangle with the teens. I loved how Will read that text from Phil and sort of shrugged it off ! lol
The cottage was lovely. Lots of Bea items around and a nice big hamper.
The whole episode was hokum though.
