Ross should have sought advice from whatever service there is for parents in his position, he should have ensured he was parenting Joel and making right his and Joel's wrongs. Maybe there isn't services,charities etc that help parents in this position. Ee could have highlighted that. Instead Ross buried his head in the sand, ignored his child, married Vicky, and swanned of to America. Pretty bad parenting.
Again today Joel is left to roam the square alone. I also really hope they aren't leading to a Joel and Lily relationship, she has Charlie to think about

I don’t think the authorities would let Zac have Joel and live with Mo and Jean, he’d have to find his own place.
He seems to have forgotten that he used to do fostering. He did a good job with Tommy , but his now too busy mooning over Vicki to suggest it now I suppose!
No to a Lily hook up. That would be a disaster , although I think they get revenge on Joel this week.

No way could Zack foster Joel after nearly breaking up Vicki and Ross - can you imagine! Even daft Ross wouldn't go for that. It won't be long until Joel finds out about Zicki because the entire Square knows.

DH (geek) tells me that the driving scenes were filmed at Millbrook test track. So no traffic.

Not heard of Millbrook test centre before. Had to look it up.

I am a bit uneasy with them glorying stealing cars though. Mark and Lauren ( Lark ?? ) are making a lot of extra money here.
She is such a hypocrite though. All that grief she gave her dad over Stacey and now she’s doing the same and did once before as well.

I like the look of Clive. Bit of a silver Fox.
I hope his not a baddie.

I like it when they bring in experienced actors for short stints - I thought Jason Durr was great in today’s episode and he has chemistry with Kellie Bright.

Linda deserves a bit of happiness, but EE writers don’t like that much! He mentioned a daughter , she’ll probably put a spanner in the works ( guess )
He is very nice though , at least he wasn’t like the other two muppets yesterday.

Also, the young detective’s comment about Amy. Is there going to be a story there?

Amy answered the door to him and when he walked into the living room where Jack was he said something like “is that your daughter? Seems like a nice girl”.
I’m trying to work out why he’s been brought in and announced as a new character. There’s clearly going to be some storyline involving him, otherwise Jack could’ve simply come home and said he’d been put on compassionate leave.

Joel made a comment about Will smoking weed and he didn’t deny it.

Oh no ! I hope the new detective doesn’t go after Amy !

Craig (Jack's colleague) has been brought into work on a case involving the Brannings.

Maybe Craig is something to do with NYD ?

coor.. Denise really knocked Jack down a couple pegs today. He’s about to sink into a nasty depression and do something stupid. As for Lauren, fuming.

At least Lauren didn’t have it away with muscles.
I guess that she will at some stage , but maybe not yet

What was Lauren wearing? Thigh high pleather boots and fishnet type stockings.

That detective is obviously there for some reason, seems like he's going to try to take over Jack's job. The Drama! Jack never does owt anyway.

I liked Denise's speech about it not being about whether she fights / is strong. I hate it when people say that.

Suddenly Lily is wearing makeup. I don't think she ever has before.

Joel is still pretty incendiary but you can see why.

Agree the Denise speech. @Shellingbynight I hate that type of talk too. She lost the fight as if it's the person's fault.

I thought Lauren looked good. What are they thinking though she has 2 young children how does he think this will end.

Unsure what to make of Joel. He plays the part so well.

Those boots must have magnets in them, first Elaine and poly suit guy, now Lauren and Mark/Peter.
