True, there are some really good wigs out there. I remember being surprised the first time I saw the cyclist Joanna Rowsell without one and speaking about alopecia, I hadn't guessed. I obviously knew with my colleague's as she told me, but it looked great, and I think if you didn't know, you wouldn't have guessed. Bizarrely her previously straight hair grew back curly post chemo, and looks beautiful, not that it didn't before.

Some wigs look good I think.
Im sure that Kim can source some wigs for her sister. It is their specialty isn’t it , hair!

Or failing that, I'm sure Mo can source some via Fat Elvis.

Although on second thoughts....

The actress has been wearing a wig for the entirety of her 20 years on EE (her normal hairstyle is not her real hair) so I'm sure they can find another one for her. I was completely confused by the scene where she went to Kim's before going to hospital to get her hair 'cut'. It's a wig so there was nothing to cut, it's just a case of taking the wig of and then you see her natural hair underneath - which is what we saw in the episode the following day.

I bet that ‘fat Elvis ‘ wigs are the kind of thing you see at the circus on clowns ! Or those shops that sell England flags and hats ( half price at the moment )
I was surprised that Penny’s goods didn’t go astray. Vinny the good dad , Harry the irresponsible one!

@Southeastdweller I don't think it's unrealistic that Denise has had that many partners, as you say she's good looking, and often the guys were punching above their weight and/or serial killers😆 Aside from that there is the perennial issue of ageing babe magnets Phil and Max who have had multiple gorgeous women, now that really IS unrealistic!

@Eastie77Returns I think Denise had a weave (although Di may have a wig) and that would need cutting out from her own hair wouldn't it?

Phil could do with a new love interest. I like the look of Linda’s one but he’ll probably end up a baddie ( hope not )

I've just watched today's (tomorrow's) episode. Max Murray is a class act. At the moment it is very credible that he has reformed. We'll see how it works out!
Shame we have to suffer Vicki and Ross though.

Mark is a plank. I think it would be hard for anyone to create chemistry with him, and Lauren certainly doesn't!

Oscar and Brian are the only convincing couple on the square right now.

I loved Dee laying down the law to Sheila in tonight's episode and both Chelsea and Libby succumbing to her will despite being grown up women themselves 👏

Ah but that happens, my sisters and I, despite being in our 40s, revert to childhood dynamics and occasionally behaviour in my parents' house. Much to their amusement and annoyance.

A weave would have been sown into cornrows (her own hair) but this is standard procedure when taking out a weave so still not sure why Kim had the scissors out as if she was getting an actual haircut and it was all so dramatic. Her natural hair would not have been cut when taking out a weave. Sorry am over thinking but I’m from the same ethnic background as the actress and didn’t understand that hair scene at all😅

@Eastie77Returns that's interesting, I didn't understand that scene either but I thought I didn't get it because I am not the same ethnic background!

Yesterday Denise had lost most of her hair but had a few remaining long lengths, which didn't make sense as surely Kim had cut it short... oh well. I suppose they wanted a 'dramatic head shaving scene' but it didn't really make sense.

I assumed scissors were to cut the thread holding her weave, and then any stray hairs after redoing cornrows.

The random long lengths was the most bizarre aspect of all, her natural hair before she went into hospital was short😭 But agree they must have needed that for dramatic effect. Maybe because Lola had a head wrap throughout her entire illness and we never saw her hair so they decided to be more ‘real’ this time.

Me too. It gave her back her powers. She was right and played it well with Sheila, good for her. Obviously it is not going to be the end of Sheila and gray.
Max and Priya are ridiculous carrying on, he deserves the fall out when Cindy catches up with him. The fling just seems so unrealistic.

Diane Parish has a video on her Instagram of the makeup and prosthetics needed to do her post-chemo hair. It's fascinating to watch, and a huge job. The lead stylist/artist has worked in Game of Thrones, so has done lots of detailed hair pieces. It's definitely worth a watch.

Max Murray is so talented. I hated Joel for what he did but yesterday, Max showed us the hurt, lost boy who didn't feel loved or wanted by anyone and I really pitied him.
He also showed all that emotion without over acting. How different to Jazz hands Josh!

I agree about Max Murray, he is brilliant. It is so odd that they can cast talents like Max and Oscar, and then we get Josh and Jasmine.

I didnt like the Gina and Harry and Kojo scenes, it was like a teenager instruction video - so unnatural

Joel is very good. He didn’t say anything much, but he showed his emotions well.

Just carrying the show ..they blow everyone else out of the water
Then Zac ,Alfie Jack Kathy jean Lauren Denise Kim George Gina great at supporting the main actors
Then you have the dreadful Bea the dreadful twins,Harvey josh ,Vicki
Totally being carried by the rest of the cast
Suki is good too and eve ..Peter dreadful
Seriously josh and Vicki are there to support joel ..that's got to be the only reason they are kept in the programme..to give Joel a reason to be back .
Even honey and billy I just see as fillers
Love Mark ..and Priya definitely could see them together
Don't like this new Priya throwing herself at max ..to predictable to boring ..
And Zoe ...Zoe Zoe Zoe .
What a mess the they made of her return
I feel so sorry for Michelle Ryan ..they ballsed up her return with shit scripts..in bed with max ..then they barely speak two words to each other.
Major let down the writing for Zoe

I’ve gone back to Corrie after many many decades away and that is the same too, good and middle actors and some that are not as good.
The old school ones on EE are good because they have had time to make the character their own and come from a proper actor training background. You can appreciate how good they are when you see the ones who struggle.
You can tell the ones who wouldn’t get much work outside a soap drama. It is a tough career isn’t it!
Must take years to hone your craft and soap schedules must be hard.

Angie ,den ,Lou ,Pauline dot Michelle
Now there's a load of kids you hardly see ,with no decent storylines.
What's the actual point of Harvey or the twins..
The boy twin was a replacement for that very flamboyant character who dressed as a lady ..how bad is it I can't remember either of their names .
Twins Bea and Harvey need to go asap
Followed by Joel and Vicky
Zac is totally under used
And what's the point of Alfie anymore ...he used to be a main part ,now he's a filler .
I feel they are wrecking EE with poor quality actors and poor quality scripts
