Is Laura Doddington really leaving? Wonder why?

Surely the Joel storyline is he comes back an unchanged character, wants revenge on Vicki. He will also target Avani. Will Ravi go nuclear on him? Ross will stick by/won’t stick by Joel and I see Joel stepping off into the sunset again, either back inside jail or somewhere else. Highly unlikely he’s rehabilitated and a changed character or if he is it’s all an act and he reverts back to form.

Sorry I know you all like her but this Denise stuff is boring. I totally understand she wants to feel needed etc. but this attitude of they can't cope without me but then getting pissed off when they do manage to wipe their own arses. You see it so much with women and I just want to scream "let him iron his own fucking shirt!".

Anyway, what was the Gina nonsense about. And again the drama over Ian pleading guilty when we know he's not in jail in 5 months time.

This shop of Penny’s has been ongoing for months. It was being cleaned out months ago by Vinny. Why the long wait for her to stock it up and so on ?

I quite liked last night's episode. Nice scene with Ravi and Denise.

I can see why Denise has the attitude that everything will fall apart without her - she's married to Jack, who is useless! Kim is equally useless, and Chelsea has got involved with Gray's family, so although the laundry's getting done, she's right - things have fallen apart.

I thought Gina did 'good drunk', and Harry is good in these type of scenes too. I couldn't care less and Vinny and the van though.

@Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain South confirmed on the previous page that Nicola isn't leaving.

Even if Denise was well , Chelsea still wouldn’t have told her about Sheila. Letting her see Jordan on the square is asking for trouble though!
Dee will blame Kim for not telling her and it’ll kick off now.

I think if Denise had been at home she would have sniffed out the Sheila thing very quickly so it would never have got that far!

Libby is leaving shortly thank goodness (returning for NY). I had forgotten how annoying she is. Not a great actress either.

Aww! I don’t mind Libby. She can be annoying , but she’s fairly harmless , a bit like a more trustworthy Sonia. I saw that they bade her goodbye soon , I suppose she has to go back to work. They need the space in that house!
I hope Denzil and Amy get together, they seem well suited.
Avani gets some revenge on Joel next week apparently.

I thought Libby was back to help Denise, I expected to see her visiting and helping out with Raymond but we didn't see any of that. Her only contribution was to invite Sheila into their lives! Maybe she did the laundry too😆

I meant to say earlier, I hate how Ravi is ranting on about Priya's other man. It is none of his business, he was the one who broke up with her. The way he was confronting Mark, the meds and therapy really are not working!

Ravi didn’t do enough therapy eh!
He will find out it’s Max I’m sure. Probably the one holding his children hostage later on this year.

Mark and Ravi having a proper grown up conversation was good . Made a change. Made mark think a bit that he is doing all the heavy lifting.
Mo is awful stealing the goods ;it may turn out to be someone else’s stuff though? Will Harry break in the garage? Why didn’t penny go to the shop to see if it had been done ? She doesn’t seem to care about it much.

Will Eastenders try and shoehorn in some Football related banter?

I haven't watched this weeks yet ( not till Thursday) . Joel's haircut does look severe (but better than the Curtains )
I liked Tommy's hair when he got rid of Joel as a friend and his hair !

I saw that they did football stuff with Alfie and Jean , but I didn’t see it on I player. No idea why

Me too, I thought I was going mad there for a bit as it definitely wasn't there when I watched.

Agree Ravi ended it with Priya she's can shag who she wants. Zicki is definitely going to be re-visited.

Joel's mum looks wayyy too glamourous to have been married to someone like Ross.

Ravi has been back 5 minutes and already worked out that Mark is in love with Lauren. Also managed to get ownership of the gym sorted in 24 hours. Lol.

Is Libby really leaving? She's in the NYD flash forward so must return at some point.

I'm finding Harry and Gina completely cringe and just fast forward their scenes.

Ravi trying to teach Mark how to be a better crook😂I used to like Ravi despite all his faults, but I can't stand him now. Wadey has managed to ruin him.

I thought Diane Parish was brilliant today, I loved her scenes especially the resolution when she summed up Sheila so well. And the scene where Jack walked into the bedroom was excruciating, when he totally failed to hide his reaction to how Denise looks. I was so sad for her.

I can't see the point in the Sheila plot, other than to give characters 'something to do' and so Wadey could say 'look here's Evil Gray again'. It will go nowhere.

I can't see the point of Shelia either. Unless Gray manages to break out of prison and gets her to help kidnap Jordan. Or she dies and he is allowed to go to her funeral and escapes then. Denise saw straight through her and instinctively knew she would be in contact with him. It's true that the rest of her family barely have a brain cell between them!

Do we know where Ravi is getting his money? He swore to Priya he is no longer dealing and sounded sincere but he has bought into the gym, has a new car and took the kids on a bizarre sounding hotel spa break (what kids Nugget and Avani's age would want to do that kind of middle aged break with their dad?!)

And no we don't know where Ravi is getting his money do we. He was able to buy the gym at the drop of a hat, fancy car, presumably that is his old drug money he had stashed away? He wouldn't answer Priya's question and he certainly doesn't have any legit money.

Was EE on tonight? I didn't see it on the TV guide. I thought it was on on Friday instead because of the ⚽️ ?!?

I knew it must have been on because people watched earlier today but it was not in the tv guide, so I switched to iplayer and the episode was on there. I think they are dropping on iplayer as usual but airing live on different days.

The iPlayer episode I watched was dated the 16th July which confused me.
