I do love Phil so much. His seriously flawed and can be a bit of a git, but he has a soft side and can be nice too.

I'm pleased they are (apparently) rehabilitating Joel. He is such a good actor I'd like him to stay.

It looks like Lauren is tempted but doesn't actually cheat. Yet! It's only a matter of time though!

I saw a headline for Lauren, read a bit more and they only kiss and she stops it all.
It won’t end there I’m sure. ( I think of kissing someone else as cheating , but it’s a grey area ! lol)

I think the Denise story is good, it's quite natural to feel you are surplus to requirements after time away from home. My friends husband cheated on her post breast cancer treatment too, so maybe not that far fetched!
My favourite EE characters are Phil, Kim, Lynda, Tracey, Jean and Nicola.
Of all time Michelle and Lofty, Tiff (Mitchell), Den and Angie, Mel, Shirley and Heather.

I agree that many men stray when their partner or wife becomes ill. It’s not that hard to imagine that Jack n Jack would , he has form for cheating too

Lauren absolutely will cheat, they are just dragging the story out.

But the way the Jack story is phrased, it sounds as if he isn't cheating.

"But is Jack hiding a major betrayal from Denise, or was his meeting with Rita about something else entirely?" Presumably, the latter.

Hopefully Jack isn’t cheating then!

I agree with this. I see it more of a failure on the planning/writing part rather than Michelle Ryan herself. The storylines didn't work at all. The fact that the actress that plays Nicola is leaving abd she is a pretty good actress says a lot really.

I wish EE sorted out their politics a bit better. There is too much drama behind the scenes and it ruins it sometimes.

Denice was vacuuming before with a really old noisy clunky looking vacuum . IIRC it was a plot to cover the sound of someone breaking in.

We all commented back then about her doing some housework !

I was thinking during today's episode, Kim's got a bit of a nerve - giving Ian grief whilst seemingly forgetting that she crashed her car, injuring Denzel in the process, because she was reading texts on Denise's phone!

Noisy , Kim is a hypocrite plus nobody cared about Jordan for years prior to the wedding either ! Lol

I didn't know the Nicola actress was leaving! It feels like she's not long started on EE 😳

Yes, I too thought Kim was being rather harsh on Ian today.

and I was a bit baffled by that cos of the flash forward episode. Apparently it is disagreements with the writing and her character. Maybe it was tabloid bollocks then.

Probably fan speculation.

I hope Nicola stays on.
