The affair with Ken , the cringeworthy scene where Sharon and Phil are making up for lost time while Ken hid under the bed. The sheets had barely a chance to cool down , she turfed Ken out and Phil rolled in.

Sharon and Phil have always had a spark , she's better with him than with Grant .

Poor Ken ! He loved Sharon so much.

Yes I did a big of digging and found this too.

Max would have to sell his assets in order to have ready cash. I think he said last week he is selling/has sold two properties which is why Cindy was splashing his cash on the wedding venue.

So Ravi is going to recognise Priya’s key ring and realise Max is her man.

I didn’t blame Sharon, Zoe told terrible lie about Dead Dennis in order to lever money out of her. Sharon has changed her story about selling the boxing den, she just wants to ‘move on’ and ‘look forward’, nothing about being free to see Michelle. (Shaz had had some upper lip filler. Nice wig though.)

Ian annoyed me by constantly repeating ‘going to prison for years, missing out onJimmy’s chilldhood’. The solicitor said the worst case was two years, so the most he’d do is a year, and he’d probably get less anyway.

Peter’s acting was terrible today (as usual).

Oh I thought that was Letitia’s natural hair? If it’s a wig it’s a very good one, much better than the one she had last year. I think she’s looking fabulous.

Not very exciting - she is a woman Denise is in touch with who had the same illness. They spoke over facetime today. I think this woman is the sacrificial victim who will die while Denise lives (old soap trope).

Rumour has it her natural hair is a brunette pixie cut.. I wouldn’t recognise her without the wig.

@Southeastdweller I think Tish always wears a wig. Usually the wigs look good but occasionally she gets a dodgy one. I think it's quite common for them to wear wigs to save their own hair being overstyled. Denise and Chels too.

Agree with PP's about Ian. We know he's not in prison at new year, and from the flash forward episode shows no signs of readjusting to life outside. Therefore, my Spidey senses suggest he's not going to jail. And even if he does it will literally be a couple of months. Do you think there is an oversight there by the writers? Surely if we can see it then the professionals can.

Denise is getting on my nerves. Her family made a big effort and she's mumbling about having no washing to do. I know on a deeper level she wants to feel needed but still.

Zoe was brought back in a big publicity stunt to be given absolute dross. The production and writing has been appalling. She may have asked for time off but I don't blame her, she must be feeling a fool for going back. She's the sacrificial lamb. I'm sure she was doing the best she could with what she was given, she can't be blamed for bad scripts, plots and cast. The twins casting was one of the biggest mistakes. The slaters have been badly let down, I don't blame Kat for wanting to do panto. To be honest the slaters have all had alot of time off in the past year, tag teaming annual leave maybe

Does Jessie Wallace play a goodie or baddie in pantomime ?

Apparently she’s playing Captain Hook in this year’s pantomime (so a baddie I guess).

I never saw Denise so much cleaning before , so why she’s upset is a mystery. At least they all chipped in , there are enough of them to do it.
I guess she wants to be needed, but with so much help she should be more grateful they are doing it.
She does look poorly , she should tell them the meds will be changing over next time though.

I think Denise was just using the cleaning thing as getting back to 'normality'. Although she looks so weak I doubt she could handle it.

I think they’re doing this quite well to be honest, we don’t see anyone cleaning in EE really..

but when I came out of hospital, to a clean house where everything was absolutely fine but nothing was quite how I usually have it.. it took me a while to settle, it was quite emotional. Even little things, like my washing smelling different 😅

It was nice that they all helped out. Even Phil!

She is doing well with what must be a hard part to play.
I was surprised how many of them there are. How they all live in that house is a mystery isn’t it !!

I also thought the scene today with Ravi and Denise was lovely to watch.

Spoiler from Facebook, I will riot if Jack cheats on Denise.. what terrible writing, I know he’s not been the best husband at times - but cheating on his wife whilst she battles cancer isn’t in Jack at all. Hopefully it’ll be a bit like the temptation Peter faced recently and will fizzle out just as quickly and be a pointless storyline.

“Jack Branning and Denise Fox's relationship is pushed to the brink on EastEnders next week – and Jack is later spotted getting cosy with a mysterious woman.

The couple are struggling to communicate as they each cope with the impact of Denise's leukaemia. But as their latest quarrel comes to a head, Jack may take comfort in the arms of another…

"Jack has been Denise's rock throughout her cancer ordeal so far," explains our Walford insider. "But the heartbreaking situation is really beginning to take its toll on this beloved couple.

"As a dramatic row erupts, Jack storms out – but what is he doing with a lady in the Vic, and why is her hand on his knee?"

Since Denise completed her initial course of treatment, she and Jack have found it tricky to tell each other how they're truly feeling, and it's led to rising tensions at No. 27. Next week, Denise continues struggling to open up to her partner, and relations are strained between the pair.

When she gets to the hospital for further treatment, Denise has a change of heart and realises she needs to be totally honest with Jack. But meanwhile, Jack is dealing with a difficult situation of his own…

"Jack is told that he's being given compassionate leave at work, and he's devastated," reveals our spy. "His job has been a much-needed distraction during Denise's illness, so to have this taken away is a massive blow.

"With his colleague Craig confirmed to be taking over his current case, Jack feels left out in the cold."

With Denise and Jack's problems raging on, Phil Mitchell steps up and gives Jack some advice about what to do next. Denise also gets some much-needed clarity, and she finally confides in her partner all about her friend's recent death.

But what could be a loving moment soon turns into more conflict, as Jack once again fails to confront his own emotions. As a dramatic argument unfolds, Jack walks away…

"With Jack and Denise totally fractured, what happens next is yet to be revealed," teases our spy. "But Jack is pictured in the pub with a woman called Rita, and over a couple of drinks, the pair are looking rather close. Could Jack be about to make a huge mistake?"

Later, Denise and Jack finally decide to have the chat that they've been putting off, and thankfully get their relationship back on track. They don't have much chance to reconcile though, as Jack gets word that Joel Marshall has been attacked.

But is Jack hiding a major betrayal from Denise, or was his meeting with Rita about something else entirely?

I loved that Phil was helping, he uplifts every scene with his acting.

My favourite Phil moment was when he was helping Kat “clean,” and he appeared in the leopard print tabard.
