The Our Girl Addicts Thread 80

We've been going since 2014 and have watched numerous other series as well as Our Girl. We're currently on the second series of Last Tango in Halifax and are enjoying it immensely!

Just seen a new ITV drama being advertised called The Blame with Michelle Keegan. There was another name on there I recognised (Josh Bolt) and realised it was Raff from Last Tango.

Mentioning Josh Bolt in a new drama with Our Girl MK reminds me again that I didn't know him or the lad that played Lawrence from LTIH but from Masters of the Air as adults. The original William was in it too.

I started watching Masters of the Air but somehow got distracted.

Realising that we do not have many episodes left of LTIH I had a look in BBC archives for possible choices for what watch next. Thought BBC best bet as no ads and we all have access. These are purely chosen on having a nice lot of episodes and are not recommendations by me. Some I have no knowledge but thought among us there will be someone with ideas or views. Anyway maybe gives us something to chew over. So here is the list of those I found….Life on Mars 16 episodes, Line of Duty 36, Monarch of the Glen 64, The Musketeers 30, Peaky Blinders 36, Shetland 56, The Split 20. Any others you can think of 😂

Well Magi you've been busy! Definitely I can recommend The Split, it's excellent. Nicola Walker is in it and she and her younger sister in the drama (whose name I can't remember offhand) have some gorgeous clothes!

I seriously don't fancy Peaky Blinders. Too gory.

We watched Musketeers a while back, for LP continuity.

I'd like Line of Duty or Life on Mars. Lots of intrigue and twists and turns in those. Life on Mars could be followed by Ashes to Ashes.

There are also some series on U and Drama, which are all free and everyone gets adverts at the same time. I'll have a look at that to see if there's anything.

A quick scan through shows Miss Scarlet and the Duke - Cosy crime 24 episodes, sassy Victorian female detective battles the establishment, Hotel Portofino - 1920s Hotel drama in the sun and a bit Downtonesque 18 episodes, Jonathan Creek 26 episodes. It's a shame it's left now but the Upstairs Downstairs reboot from around 2010 used to be there and was quite good. I think it can still be found somewhere but probably not free.

The Hardacres on Channel 5 was silly but quite fun too.

Oh I like the sound of some of those. Especially the Miss Scarlett and the Duke. Absolutely never heard of that one. Well we do have a good few suggestions now and with a few more episodes of LTIH still to go it should give us time to mull them over and decide.

It's that woman who brought the wine in the last episode. She's run into the back of Caroline's car.

So, this is how Caroline and Olga met.

When somebody ran into the side of my car, I think I was fairly calm. This woman is really over the top. It only hit me afterwards what he had done.
