The Our Girl Addicts Thread 80

We've been going since 2014 and have watched numerous other series as well as Our Girl. We're currently on the second series of Last Tango in Halifax and are enjoying it immensely!

Yawn, in other words.

Olga is a bit pushy it seems.

Caroline's love interest turns up. I wonder what Caroline saw in her?

Indeed, she seems quite annoying.

Caroline's got lipstick on her face.

Oh a ghost … that should be a blast. Probably John will arrive and he’ll be taken for the ghost

So the ‘new’ house in Halifax or wherever is haunted!

A ghost story for the Christmas special - how appropriate.

I can guess where this if going!

It's in Huddersfield apparently

Robbie returns to the fold.

Looks like Alan gets a part in Blithe spirit too!

Robbie comes home and Gillian is still looking at the shed to see if the ‘ghost’ is around 🤣

Alan is taking to the stage.

Enjoying the preview bits - it looks good.

It’s a two-part special?

Well, that was fun. Nicely set up for some festive spooky fun and shenanigans next time.

Are we all good for next Wednesday 2nd?

Yes, it was the Christmas 2 parter at the end of series 4.

I mean it's two episodes that appear to have formed all of series 4.

Series 5 appears to be just four parts.

It did sound funny when Alan, aka Derek Jacobi, said he couldn't act!

Yes, I'll be there.

Hard to believe it's September next week. I noticed in Tesco yesterday they've started to sell mince pies in readiness for Christmas!

On the one hand - REALLY!! On the other hand, I do love a mince pie 😁

See you all on the 2nd. Autumn approaches

Core a cooking apple. Stuff the gap with mincemeat. Bake, and eat. One of the best things about autumn.

Oooh, I have some baking apples in. If I do baked apples, I usually stuff them with blackberries and brown sugar. I might try mincemeat, thanks for the idea.
