Lived in Wiltshire when I was a kid then moved to Devon. Other kids looked at me like I had 2 heads when I said 'daps' 😂

I went to art college in Wales and first learned of daps there. I live in Devon now, but have not heard it locally. But it's not a frequent topic of conversation.

What does daps mean?

It's just another word for plimsolls, the ones without laces that you slip on to wear in PE circa 1980 😂
