So finally the Megan/Will storyline is coming to an end! Sam is still not well though, poor lad...

Connor-Swain and Fit Kit are busy trying to find Theo's killer, and everyone Todd is close to is taking it in turns to babysit him!

Tim is trying to come to terms with the realisation that the thing he had with an older woman (Trisha) 40 years ago, (when he was 14) was actually abuse...

Shona's sister Jodie has managed to push herself into Daniel's house (and his life,) and seems to flit from place to place, with no actual luggage or money!

I know there's probably more... Smile

It beggars belief that they would put up with Jodie's childish nonsense on top of all that.

Poor David is so run off his feet that he has neglected to get his hair cut, even though he works in a salon

Illjusthavethebreadsticks · 03/06/2026 09:56

Adam staring at Daniel on the sofa and saying’fire’ was odd, wouldn’t he have tried to wake him.

eggandonion · 03/06/2026 10:11

Didn't Bertie go and tell Adam and Tracey about the microwave? It was very undramatic. They need a local fire station. Eileen had a fireman boyfriend but he wasn't very interesting.

Shellingbynight · 03/06/2026 10:17

Yes Bertie went to Adam's to tell him the microwave went bang, which is why Adam went to Daniel's.

Where did Bertie go? I thought he’d gone for help, but apparently not.

Bertie walked down the cobbles to No1 to find grandad Ken. Tracy and Adam were there, Bertie stayed with Tracy while Adam went and faffed about in Daniel’s flat!

JewelleryCat · 03/06/2026 11:38

At least Bertie knew where to go

Wasn't Harper very premature and then needed major surgery? I know someone who had a baby in similar circumstances and yes they were in hospital for months.

Yes, Harper was born in March at 28-weeks, then had to wait until she was bigger/stronger for major surgery to remove a large tumour on her neck. So I’d expect her to still be in the hospital.

eggandonion · 03/06/2026 11:41

I was expecting some random person like Ollie to battle through smoke and flames and drag Daniel out. And be given a drink on the house.

Thanks. I obviously wasn’t paying attention or captivated!

Deadringer · 03/06/2026 11:58

I don't think Tracey would have stayed with Bertie, she is too nosey. She would have barged into that flat, pulled Daniel off the sofa by his nose, and bumped him down the stairs onto the street. (Not sure if there is stairs)

No that would not work, they need to take ages to get there giving enough time for a local hero to pile in

Thanks for that, I couldn't remember when she was born.

She was born at the beginning of January during the Corriedale malarky

It would at least give Ollie something to do. In a way, I quite like that he’s the token nice/normal Driscoll, but it does mean he ends up as the supporting character in other people’s stories.

Maybe he could seduce Sean and give him the whole “I can’t tell my dad I’m bi, he was a big butch rugby player” line. Then, just as Sean is completely under his spell, Ollie can steal the recipe for Betty’s hotpot and achieve his dream of total control of the Rovers menu.

Shellingbynight · 03/06/2026 14:31

As @zanahoria says, Harper was born during Corriedale, on 7 January. She had the surgery early March.

I watched about 8 minutes of tonight's episode and gave up. It is so bad at the moment.

eggandonion · 03/06/2026 14:55

I wish they hadn't made Amy and Ollie cousins.

JellyBeanSpring25 · 03/06/2026 15:33

Apologies, baby ‘arper was born 7 January during Corriedale mashup!

That took me down a rabbit hole, where I discovered (not a spoiler), that the lad roughed up and thrown out of the car when Idris arrived was played by the actor who played Simon Barlow as a baby! A bit of nonsense trivia for you
😊

zanahoria · 03/06/2026 16:00

Poor Ollie, he was the first Driscoll in but has now been left behind.

He needs to continue his fight against synthetic truffle oil

eggandonion · 03/06/2026 16:09

Surely Ollie should be working in the bistro with his fancy recipes.

... and then Sean could fuck off to Canal Street and live there forever, perhaps having a cameo scene every now and again, if he really must when I'm otherwise engaged. Good idea, Milky 👏😁

eggandonion · 03/06/2026 17:26

Sean has to be available to screech when Dylan gets up to no good. Maybe Dylan and Betsy Lamb will have a baby....lots of emotions with Carla Lisa Sean and Violet.

Try Not To Laugh GIF

Sorry but as serious as it is, Daniel roaming around crying all the time is hilarious

1reason · 03/06/2026 20:48

Poor Daniel! Feel sorry for him as his life seems to be imploding.Hope he can get back on track soon.

Ken and Rita have been featuring a fair bit recently.
Still no mention of Audrey though...do not think she would be impressed by house guest Jodie!

zanahoria · 03/06/2026 20:56

why would anyone believe anything Jodie tells them?

and how have they even let her back in ?

JewelleryCat · 03/06/2026 21:01

Yes, where is Audrey?
