Shona's sister Jodie has managed to push herself into Daniel's house (and his life,) and seems to flit from place to place, with no actual luggage or money!

That’s because Daniel is a complete moron!

It was a bit of a damp squib how the Truthteller story finished. And why does anyone listen to, or believe Jodie?? Why did David give her any time at all? He’d have just thrown her out, not started questioning himself and wondering whether she was right. He knows she’s a liar.

I loved the Hope and Daniel scene. I didn't think it too far fetched. 'It's Hope'. Just what he needed. She was kind and all the kids saw that. Remember he has known her since she was a baby and goes drinking with her mum and Dad. They are neighbours, not just pupil/teacher. And he was crying. Giving a hand was a kind and honest gesture.

Am I the only person that doesnt like carla and lisa? Maybe not that I dont like them but I feel like they just constantly stroke each other's beautiful hair in every scene!

That is the problem with all these panto villains, they are completely crap villains who only get away with stuff as regular characters somehow become complete idiots with goldfish memories.

I used to like Carla. But Carla and Swain make no sense as a couple. They have no chemistry. Mainly because Swain can't act. And they get terrible storylines. Unfortunately the producers are in love with them as a power couple 😬

@zanahoria wouldn't it be great if, like in the old days, characters on the Street spoke to each other and gossiped like normal humans. Daniel could speak to David and they would discover what Jodie is up to. (Well, as much as anyone can discover it. We have no idea why she does all these things, other than she's Evil.)

I can't think of any reason Harper would still be in hospital, other than she's waiting to be kidnapped by Jodie when she gets out and the storyline has not rolled around to that point yet. Maybe Christmas.🙄

At least we saw a huge amount of Frankeh in hospital although he has vanished completely now. We have never seen Arper.

Wasn't Harper very premature and then needed major surgery? I know someone who had a baby in similar circumstances and yes they were in hospital for months.

Yes that's right, but no one has taken any interest in the specifics since January, except for David and Shona having rows about who loves her less.

I've just remembered another ridiculous thing about last night's episode. Bertie and the exploding microwave. Adam arrives to a room full of smoke and all he does is open the window, switch off the smoke alarm and roll his eyes at Daniel. How about switching off the electrics to stop the source of the smoke. Daniel is lying in a smoke filled room yet the scene was devoid of any dramatic tension.
