So finally the Megan/Will storyline is coming to an end! Sam is still not well though, poor lad...

Connor-Swain and Fit Kit are busy trying to find Theo's killer, and everyone Todd is close to is taking it in turns to babysit him!

Tim is trying to come to terms with the realisation that the thing he had with an older woman (Trisha) 40 years ago, (when he was 14) was actually abuse...

Shona's sister Jodie has managed to push herself into Daniel's house (and his life,) and seems to flit from place to place, with no actual luggage or money!

I wonder what Jodie is going to do with her knowing what she does about Sarah? (Her having a thing with Gary behind Kit and Maria's back?!)

Well, she's not, but that's what Jodie is assuming! It won't be long before it gets out; Jodie's over-egged version of what's happened!

I like Gary, but was really annoyed with him the other night (last week maybe,) when he said he is going to 'be there' for Sarah if she needs him, and Maria - Gary's WIFE - said 'are you serious?!' and he said 'don't do that, don't nag me!'

As if it was OK to go trotting off defending another woman, and 'being there' for her, even though it's clearly going to upset his wife... Men who are white knights are exasperating.

I would imagine Jodie will throw the “affair” idea out there to get the attention off her.

I don't blame him. He's been made a fool of by Megan, now he's suspended from working and if mud sticks he's likely to be unable to work. Happened to a teacher at a local school, girl got told off, told other kids she was going to get him and made false allegations. He was suspended and the investigation exonerated him but so many parents saying no smoke without fire and objecting to him working with their kids. He did have a breakdown and was medically retired.

Hope made the false allegations didn't she, she's a nasty girl, vile to her parents. She shouldn't have got the cake in the cafe after her performance about needing two.

Yes, I can see why Daniel is losing it.
it’s not the break up with Meghan ( he wasn’t with her that long! ) it’s all the fall out from it, the online trolling, suspended from work etc etc.
I actually really like Daniel as a character and hope he has a happy ending.

Yes and it's not like he's had it easy, dead wife and left with little baby, Daisy clearing off. I think it's time he had a happier storyline. Wasn't Ken, his father, missing from his childhood as well.

Hope really is a nasty girl, but so well acted and very entertaining.

I think she is kleptomaniac and has a saviour complex, which is why she seems to 'rescuing' different kids- Lily, Bertie, the girl from her ex. I think she is purposely sabotaging Daniel's life, so she can continue to live in his house and take care of Bertie. But she does do random things all the time that make no sense- like snooping around David's house, lying about her birthday etc.

She is great with Will, they should have brought her into the story line earlier instead of Sam, it makes me laugh how she just treats it all like a bit of gossip and ribs him for fancying nannas

Honestly I’m really not enjoying it currently. The “who killed Theo” storyline is so dull and these drawn out whodunnits are boring now. Jodie is annoying. They have made Daniel quite pathetic. Yawn.

Nobody cares who killed Theo. Every Wetherfield resident and viewers alike are just relieved hes gone.
The scenes with Hope Dodds are the only ones that entertained me this week.

Has anyone heard what the ITV schedule for Corrie will be for the upcoming football World Cup?
It starts Thursday 11 June, so not long now!
Noticed no Corrie scheduled for next Friday 5 June due to a Women's World Cup qualifier.

I asked DH if there was any Corrie character that HADN'T been in prison and he said Rita, but I've just checked and she was in cells overnight in 2005 for contempt of court after verbally abusing magistrate. Cilla had got her arrested for assaulting Chesney. So, anyone else?
