Only just finished. Late to the party again:
Chris & Sam: His ‘Leave’ vote reason 😶. Poor baby he’s ‘got coming’ being used as a smokescreen. His body language said it all. Completely closed off, even when Sam cried. Zero empathy. Wants a mail order husband someone to fit into his world, without bothering himself with how they feel.
Gia & Scott: Having seen the (pre-spoiler) start of After the Dinner Party, her mea culpa this eve felt like more manipulation. She clearly can’t take any feedback, or hear another person’s perspective, without seeing it as an attack, to which she reacts with fight (back) or flight (see Chris above). Silly Scott’s grown on me enormously and could do much better.
Alissa & David: Sound and mature as usual. Is the edit being uber kind? IS there a spin-off show in the offing?
Stevo & Rach: For another week, he’s forcing himself to ‘feel something’.
Stella & Flip Flop: She was so gracious to Mel. Doubly poignant 😭
Bec & Danaconda: Is she genuinely oblivious to “Bub” stringing her along because he hasn’t got the heart to reject her on TV (see Stevo above). See also the lack of heart on his ‘Stay’ vote: “because I was in a rush”. Pull the other one, mate, it’s got bells on. Dja know what ee mean?
