Why would any couple move in together if they don't love each other? I don't get why Gia wants to move in with him. She doesn't like him or his lifestyle or his friends.

Is it just for money?

She was probably under the impression that he would tolerate her constant BS and horrible behaviour. After the CS where he said it was putting him off her, she has completely withdrawn because even she can't see how it would work unless he stays completely passive and just provides the cash to fund her extensive face and body restorations.

He was the one who mentioned the blindfold at his parents’ home 🤢

Bloody hell, it would be like blindfolding Woody Woodpecker with that laugh.

The blindfold might be better applied over the mouth…

Indeed. I like Rachel, but the manic laugh is grating.

You know what's been missing from all these 'relationships'? Joy, fun, silliness, talking through the night, all the good stuff when you're getting to know someone.

I don't think it does any good to live together immediately. There's no getting ready for date nights. They seem to think a picnic on the floor of the living room is romantic. It's not. It's boring. These are young people with no children. Why aren't they out enjoying themselves?

I also don't think it's good for the ixperts to encourage such naval gazing. It's easy - be nice to each other, talk about all your opinions and all your views, ask questions, don't expect the world on a plate just because you've been matched with someone.

No wonder this format doesn't work.

Also, I cannot imagine being filmed all day every day. And it’s not just remote cameras, it’s production and camera staff hovering around. I kind of admire all the contestants, I simply would struggle to behave in any kind of normal way. Unless they manage to switch off. I don’t think I could.

Whilst I agree with most of what’s been said about SteveO, I believe they said that the home stay was taking place in a family holiday home; to be fair he has his own place as does his Mum. That’s why all the family were there and the bed small.

I’m sure I read he lives with his mum. Is that not the case?

Why would you even go there with your parents?!

hellomylov3 · Yesterday 18:26

That Joe guy(Stella's mate) has got to be gay!

dapsnotplimsolls · Yesterday 18:28

I haven't got the time or energy to catch up on last night - could someone give me a quick summary pretty please?

DeadBug · Yesterday 18:38

@dapsnotplimsolls First part of home stays. Gia was vile. Scott looked scared. Rachel kissed a dead/dying fish. Then stevo. Much chat on here about which kiss was the most passionate.
And Stella wore nice earrings.

Think that covers the highlights. It's bb's turn to be vile tonight.

Thank you. I might need serious snacks for the BB monster.

Gia did say on the couch that the bad behaviour wasn’t her. She wasn’t like that in the real world. Then she told Scott at the home stay that she might kick off if something didn’t please her. I think I’m paraphrasing here, but there is no way she is all sweetness and light. She just continuously talks over Scott and tells him to think how she feels. As if he has any choice in the matter. He is looking more downbeat as the show goes on.

Have i missed a new thread? Thanks.

dapsnotplimsolls · Yesterday 19:17

I've started a new thread - can someone link it please? My laptop is pooped.

Just rewatched Stella's caption. She's a beauty technician which wouldn't be on the highly skilled list. She's 32 so under 35 which makes me think she's probably on a working holiday visa. That would give her 2/3 years which is why she might want to find a husband (and get pregnant 👀) in order to stay there.

Edited

I thought she’d been there for years and years

pouletvous · Yesterday 19:36

she has been there for
nine years

sp not after a spousal visa and baby of convenience

hellomylov3 · Yesterday 19:38

Hmm then maybe she went on a whv and got sponsorship? If she was a citizen she would have nothing to tie her to Sydney? I really want to know!
