We're well into Spring 2026 now. CORONATION STREET THREAD. **No spoilers please.**

Can't believe we're on a new thread already. Filling up so fast these days!

Brief summary:

Todd has finally left the dreadful Theo, (after he badly beat up Todd,) but Theo is not keen on leaving him alone (although he has been told to by the police.)

Carla and Lisa (Swain) are planning on getting married very shortly.

Carl has been trying to extort money out of Summer for information, as he knows Theo killed Billy. (Summer knows this now too as Theo cornered her in the shop and told her as much, threatening to 'bury her too.') Summer is - very sensibly - not giving Carl a penny until Theo is arrested!

The ghastly Megan (Trainer) seems to have vanished, so Sam is relatively safe for now, but Sam has been having hallucinations and keeps seeing Will there - coming at him - when Will is nowhere near. Toyah, Leanne, and Eva have tricked Megan into meeting her (by sending a text from the burner phone Megan gave Will, and pretending to be Will...) Not sure what they're going to do when they meet her!

Ben Driscoll has just found out the man he knew as dad is not his bio father, and Jim McDonald is actually his father (so he is.)

The effervescent Debbie is declining a little bit more by the week, but is still in fighting spirit, and is seeing Carl for the parasite he really is. The gorgeous Ronnie is always by her side. Carl has just decided to cause a flood in Debbie's hotel by leaving the taps running in one of the rooms, after she told him he was very difficult to love, and refused to let him have half the hotel after he threatened to report Ronnie to the police for hitting him.

Shona's annoying sister Jodie is causing trouble all over the place! She's stolen Lisa's police badge, and a girl she uses to be a nanny for has turned up. Jodie is not happy about this!

Probably a bit more is happening, but I'm sure it will come up soon.

I may have to watch it again this episode tonight. I feel like I missed stuff!

It feels like there was waaay too much happening/too many storylines in one tiny 22 minute episode. Is Carl dead then? Is Theo dead? Who has killed Theo? I wish someone would kill Megan!

It's because they do not care about these issues, they are just exploiting them for entertainment

I agree about how annoying it is that they keep killing off abusers, instead of making them pay for their crimes - by being sent to prison.

The only one we know is dead is Theo because Betsy in police interview had found a dead body hadn’t she?

Ok so Theo is definitely dead which is a shame, he needed to face justice for our Todd. I can’t see George or Summer being a killer but we do stuff in the heat of the moment

It was nice of Ronnie to take Carl to the hospital and regarding Maggie, could be someone like Ben instead of Corrie wanting us to think it’s Will

I don't like Carl, and I know Debbie had told him to do one. But my heart is broken for her. I guess if he dies Ronnie can just lie to her forever more and say he's happy in Germany.

Maybe there will be a twist that actually Theo isn’t dead. I doubt Betsy took his pulse.

All the panto villains were bad enough but they have now turned Ronnie intoa violent scumbag

I really do not like this idea that the street has so many potential killers lulling about, it is just getting ridiculous

That was awful! I’m more confused than ever. I’ve watched every night yet somehow have no idea how Carl ended up in ronnies car. I think the filming was so dark I’ve missed loads. When Todd got out of the car at the end of the street, why didn’t he run into the pub as it was close and he would know it was full of people. Then later he said to George that he threw his phone away, yet he got out of the taxi because he’d forgotten it? Just doesn’t make sense.
So we don’t know what’s happened to summer. I thought it was Ma Driscoll at the end.

Todd told George he threw his watch away, not his phone. Theo had been tracking him on his watch.

I think Todd will be a suspect too. Christina said she they took so long as she couldn’t find him at first, he was not where he said he would be.

So much went on, hard to keep track!

Lots of pink mackerels and plenty of potential for lots of the wrong people to get locked up.

And Banarama all let free as more has come to light about Megan Trainer.

I guess it’s going to take weeks (and weeks) to unravel 🤷‍♀️

So they’ll arrest the wrong people next week who will spend the next six months banged up alongside Lou and Mick in Weathy nick getting beaten up until the real killers are brought to justice.

There was blood on one of the cuffs but I do hope it's a red herring.

Ronnie has always been a calm, reasonable character but now he's suddenly morphed into a villain! It's ridiculous the producers change characters completely to suit their daft plots. They've really jumped the shark with this episode, so bad.

So we’re meant to think George has killed Theo or was it Christina I wonder …..🤔 maybe there’s more than one death with Carl or Ma Driscoll too?

Agree and how did Summer get into the flat? Surely it was a crime scene?

I think he had a bit of an edge to him during the Joel plot but this is just silly as they had resolved the issue. Carl was going away, Ronnie could have just put the frighteners on him one more time and seen him on his way as Debbie would not want him hurt.
