Despite the fact that it seems like 5 minutes since the Professionals ended, the new (ordinary) MC starts on Tuesday at 9. Couldn’t see a thread but happy to merge if there’s another already.

Just had a discussion with ds2 about which is the best cuisine. He says Italian tied with Japanese. French is too fancy and portions too small. Ffs.

I really can’t stand it it’s putting me off watching. Having to force myself to watch and I like masterchef

I wish they would just let Anna and Grace be themselves. I really feel they're pushed to present and talk in a specific "MasterChef" way which is making me think John and Gregg perhaps weren't such tossers. There's a snootiness and lack of warmth.

When Grace made a comment about something a few minutes ago it sounded exactly like something Gregg would have said. I did wonder to myself if the same scriptwriter is writing the same script regardless of the fact the presenters have changed.

I remember that as a student - £3 got you a chicken off the bone curry and a naan the size of a surfboard.
