I am sure the recaps have been elevated to new levels this season. By the time you've seen the 'Tomorrow Night' recap, the 'Coming Up' recap, the 'Later on' recap, the actual event in the 'live' chronological order and then the various flashback recaps used to re-illustrate a point or remind us what was said previously, you can easily see something play out six or seven times.

I wonder if it's because they are contract bound to save a certain amount of content for the After Dinner thing? It feels SOOOOO padded with every minor drama dragged out and flogged to death.

Also fed up of Ixperts being 'disappointed' when couples have problems, rather than accepting that the issues are significant enough to prevent the relationship from developing. Alessandra is the worst at this. She thinks 'being physically intimate' is the answer to everything.

They must have cut a lot of the interaction between J&J and the ixperts because Juliette really had it in for Joel as she was leaving but he said nothing on the couch. Perhaps it was just a series of bleeps so they couldn't broadcast it.

Yes, Juliette really laid into Joel, calling him a pig and a dog who'd thrown her under the bus in front of the ixperts. I rewound that and I can't see it. Joel barely said one word on the couch.

Talking of all the recaps and 'coming up' excerpts and so on, has anyone seen what it is that's actually been changed forever?
They kept saying that the couples retreat was changed forever blah blah blah.
