I think the producers have got the formula quite drastically wrong in this series. Too many mean girls and too much drama. Every dinner party is a rehash of the last, no one is being held accountable for behaving like arseholes (at this point several people would have been kicked off if there was any justice, instead of which they're supplied with unlimited booze to encourage them to kick off), and the exploitation of Bec's obvious issues for so-called entertainment is very uncomfortable at this point.
Don't get me wrong, I know they go for maximum drama for the sake of ratings, but it's become so formulaic and repetitive that I'm bored now and considering switching off (although I probably won't because I'm curious 😄). It's also irritating how much the 'drama' hogs airtime to the detriment of the other relationships - in particular it would have been good to see more of how the retreat went for some of the less volcanic characters, instead of which we didn't really see much besides the Bec drama.
Oh, and would someone tell Gia to either show the bloody receipts or pipe down about them?! 🙄
