I think even if Mark hadn't messed up the timing for his beignet, he would have been out of the running. Both Luke and Gareth have wowed the judges.

I hated Luke’s starter black pudding, squid and egg yolk are all big no nos for me.

I was thinking it was luke, but now I think it may be gareth. It is not mark anyway

I think it’s Gareth and his story telling helped. I think it should be Luke.

I think Gareth is the winner. Loved his menu. It all looked beautiful. Very nice parting speech he made too.

I think Luke was strongest overall in the competition but this was always going to happen. Can't begrudge that win.

Anyone know where Luke’s place is? Winchester somewhere? I’d be tempted to take a day trip…
