Such sad news about expert Mel. As PPs have said, she look absolutely stunning in that dress last night. It will make the rest of the series rather difficult to watch without thinking of her and her family. Not sure if it’s finished airing in Aus yet but her loss will be felt there too. I wonder if there will be an announcement before tonight’s show. It would also be lovely, later on, to see a tribute to her from across all the series.

Mel was my favourite Ixpert. Alessandra always pressuring people to be intimate before they are ready and doing the 'confused' face when they aren't shagging. John is ok and good at calling people out, but Mel had real warmth.

Haven’t watched last night’s yet and have so much thread to catch up with.

MAFS, and Mel, kept me company while I've been recovering from chemo and other cancer treatment. They've definitely bought much light and laughter during a very difficult time for me. Was so sad to learn her cancer had metastasised, and that there was nothing her MDT could do. It's something I worry about with mine (more often than I should), so to discover she's now died, seemingly so quickly, more so as she was so resplendent in green last night, has really upset me.

A true inspiration.

So sad to hear about Mel, she really was my fav out of all of them. I just feel devastated for her family. I remember in a previous series her talking about how she found the love of her life later in life (she talked about not giving up hope) and how now she had the family she longed for. It just feels very unfair. RIP beautiful lady x
