That smug look of glee on her face whenever she gets an inkling that any of the other marriages (mainly Bec and Danny's, obviously) isn't faring as well as her own is pure mean girl. Is anyone else finding this particular bunch harder than most to watch? I mean, some of them do seem to be genuinely nice people, but the nasty vibes this season are just so strong it's depressing. As is Mel's downright awful treatment of Luke.

You do wonder how the experts could have spent a lot of time with these people and chosen them for the show... but then maybe they should have got them drunk first to see their true characters? Or maybe they did and decided they would make great TV, it's entertainment first and foremost isn't it? The original MAFS series were pretty dull (when they were actually trying to do it properly).
