Oh they’ve got a thermo thingy!

littlbrowndog · 24/03/2026 21:39

Omg this pudding 🤣🤣🤣

Halsall · 24/03/2026 21:39

I just laughed out loud at the line 'as well as having to grate the beef heart, Gareth has 4 Lupini bean elements to manage'.

Cooking doesn’t get any wankier than this.

Yea, like if this was that living history programme the beeb did years ago (cant remember the name, but they did a bunch, 2 blokes and a woman) I'd get it. But fancy 3star it's just wankery

I know what you mean - Tudor Farm etc with Rith Goodman, Peter Ginn and some other bloke. There was a number of them. I loved them, especially the housekeepery bits

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 24/03/2026 21:39

Marcus looks like hes an extra on Howard's Way.

ShamedBySiri · 24/03/2026 21:39

I’m guessing this is t the sort of place to down a bottle of wine and stagger out pissed. 😂

(Given how empty one’s tummy would be the alcohol would be fast acting!)

PotterHead1985 · 24/03/2026 21:40

Fuck my life. Burnt meringue. Sweet jesus. If I wanted that id make a smore or something

How come Mark cured his fish in sugar and salt? Salt from the local salt mines, maybe, but sugar? From the mountain?

Norbert seems a bit selective about what is local.

Use a fork ffs

PotterHead1985 · 24/03/2026 21:38

I thought this was a quenelle (like there's much of a difference!!)

My first ever mc thread there was much discussion about the difference. The number of spoons.

ShamedBySiri · 24/03/2026 21:41

Talking of truffles - don’t they forage any of those in that forest?

Uglydumpling · 24/03/2026 21:41

Yuk!

a bowl of sick

littlbrowndog · 24/03/2026 21:42

Maximum 8

supreme wankery

Isn't a rocher basically a one-handed quenelle? So, shaped with one spoon instead of two?

And slight shape difference.

Sean just said 5 mountain garnishes there and I was SURE he was gonna say 5 mountain goats!!

I loved those too. Tales of the Green Valley was the first one.

Well it's close to €400 for the food plus another €250 for accompanying wine so not cheap.

DH just said the beetroot look like marzipan pigs.

littlbrowndog · 24/03/2026 21:43

They do not look incredible mark.

they look doughy and horrid

ShamedBySiri · 24/03/2026 21:44

I love Luke. He’s very humble, watches, listens and talks sparingly.

burblish · 24/03/2026 21:44

No waste philosophy...except for all the waste when they get told to scrap and remake something!

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 24/03/2026 21:44

I know its supremely chefwanky, but the chef is not as twatty as some have been.

Coffee needs to come with a voucher for pizza down the hill!

PotterHead1985 · 24/03/2026 21:45

Side note (after what my last 11 months - and especially last month - has been like) can no one else die please!!! I know I didn't talk to my father, but (along with other deaths) becoming a true orphan in 10 months is shit!
