Norbert Niederkofler, apparently.

As I'm sure we all knew.

😂😂😂 not me

LaMarschallin · 23/03/2026 22:10

Well, call a baby "Norbert Niederkofler" and of course he's going to grow up to be a famous chef.

CurlewKate · 23/03/2026 22:25

Well, I’m glad we went to eat at Mark’s place before he got this far-I assume he’ll be booked out now!

Villanousvillans · 23/03/2026 22:27

I’m gutted Caroline went, she was my favourite and last woman standing. At chef’s table they loved her dessert.

Can you imagine that on the baby name boards?

Cookingdoesntgettougher · 23/03/2026 23:57

just caught up. Sad that Caroline went, but I don’t think I would have enjoyed the tapioca dessert. They were very equal at the chef table.

NewGirlInTown · 24/03/2026 00:33

Gutted for Caroline. That barbecue dude should have gone after his lobster mistakes at Chefs’ Table.
But no, let’s get rid of the only woman who has been exceptional all the way through.
Lovely Gareth for the win now, or Luke, I don’t mind .

Villanousvillans · 24/03/2026 08:14

Yes absolutely gutted for the lovely Caroline, last woman standing. Why do these earlier rounds if the count for nothing?

9.00 pm again tonight.

And a MASSIVE gap between gbm and it since gbm is on at HALF 6!

PotterHead1985 · 24/03/2026 18:42

I appear to be talking to myself over on the gbm thread. Tis odd!!

It was great-we loved it. Just as you would imagine it! We had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Everything beautifully cooked and lovely friendly but very efficient service. Then later in the week we went and spent the night-very comfortable hipsterish rooms. Not expensive at all for down South. I’ll try to share the menu.https://www.willys.co.uk/menu

ShamedBySiri · 24/03/2026 19:38

That sounds great Curlew - menu and photos all look yummy and reasonable price too.

ShamedBySiri · 24/03/2026 19:45

I was thinking about Gareth's dish last night - can't remember - was it beef? Anyway a slab of meat, a slab of potato fondant and some sauce. What sort of meal is that? And time wise the others all did tons of stuff - how did he fill the time with that? I really think it was taking the minimalism too far. He was very lucky to stay in as Caroline's tapioca obviously wasn't popular and not quite perfect either. I'm rooting for Luke now - Gareth better put a bit more on the plate next time to get my vote!

littlbrowndog · 24/03/2026 20:18

Thanks Kate. Sounds lovely

only open 4 days a week sign of the times

I thought it was a celery-yak fondant (or was that someone else?

Oh it probably was. I couldn’t remember and couldn’t be bothered to check.
I’d definitely want some chips on the side then!

Same. Although it looked an excellent fondant

Halsall · 24/03/2026 21:01

Here we go. Norbert time.

I might have to skip this Norbert bit - find it so boring when they go to reataurants

apart from Massimo “I want to eat your emotion” 🥰🥰🥰

16th century manor house restaurant (with an ugly 20th century glass yoke stuck on the side)
