Season 2 of the Night Manager. Worth persevering?

I absolutely LOVED season one, and all the relationships between the characters. Not to mention the tension! But the second season hasn’t grabbed me at all so far. Does it get better?

I think this series is a very pale imitation. It hasn’t got my interest at all.

I’m menopausal and find it harder to stick with things if they don’t grab my interest straightaway. My focus isn’t as it once was.
This series so far - unless it changes - also suffers from being London based. It’s boring compared to the season 1 locations!

It builds. That’s part of its brilliance.

Ok. I’ll give it more of a shot. I guess my hopes were a bit too high.

It gets more gripping as it goes along and if nothing else, the tropical scenery, high end Colombian abodes and eye-candy (male and female), are pleasing to watch on a winter evening here.

got up to episode 4 but it has been very slow going

I loved series one. Have now finished series 2 but much of it went over my head. I think my brain isn't programmed for this kind of stuff 😅

Glad it’s not just me, I’m finding it very boring tbh, I think I only have a couple of episodes to go so will probably persevere!

Its all bit Homo Erotic IMO, nothing wrong with that but not my cuppa

It’s tedious, with pointless sec scenes.

Tom H is wooden with no range and none of the characters are deveped.

only interesting one is Roper.

I'm really, really missing Roper, Corky and Burr. Tom's cat being named Corky really isn't the same.

Only on ep 2 and a bit bored but will stick with it if you all promise it gets better!

Come back when you’ve watched the whole series. These threads are as equally tedious as listening to a young child telling you they are bored when you’ve taken them to a theme park!
