Season 2 of the Night Manager. Worth persevering?

I absolutely LOVED season one, and all the relationships between the characters. Not to mention the tension! But the second season hasn’t grabbed me at all so far. Does it get better?

First few episodes a little slow, but really got going later. Final episode was excellent.

Jesus! Did you even read the title of the thread properly?! She wants to know if it is worth perservering with. As do I. It took me hours to get through episode one.

Only the Guardian would manage to find something so contrived and stylised but ultimately vacuous to be of value.

Clearly the whole thing was written to ensure there would be a third series.

James Bondesque at its worst.

Give me a proper more real life spy thriller any day.

Point of information. If you are sharing a web link from a facebook post, make sure you delete all the information after the "?" as it shows whose facebook account your have copied from.

we (DH and DSs 14 and 16) really enjoyed the first one but will we be cringing at the sex scenes if we watch season two together?

Just finished season two (5 minutes ago!). Bored shirtless. Hiddlestone was really wishy washy. Hugh Laurie was outstanding as always. Roxana and Teddy we're two-dimensional. Just bored.

Just finished it, that’s 6 hours of my life I won’t get back. Loved the first series, this one is shite.

I cringed and I was on my own!

Sorry that doesn't help, but its not that there are sex scence, or maybe I fell asleep, but really rather creepy slithering around each other in a night club, not just a pair but a threesome.

It was so over done DSs may just laugh, or decide neither to make a public exhibition of themselves!
