I saw this. I was so excited. His chance of a win is vanishingly small but even to be nominated at this stage of his career is amazing. SNL put forward half a dozen hosts for this award but Connor was the only one to get nominated.

Saw a video of Hudson being harassed by autograph scammers in Paris. He’s so over it.

Feel for him. He’s suddenly a superstar. He’s trying to live a normal life but that ship has sailed. Strolling around like a tourist is never going to be easy for him again. It will be body guards, VIP entrances and a massive curtailment of personal freedom. You definitely make a deal with the devil in the name of fame and fortune. Such a shame. Hope he’s ok.

Those paps and autograph hunters are awful. I felt so sorry for him and his gf and their friends. They just wanted to have a bit of downtime and a holiday.

He actually posted some photos from Paris and it looks like he was able to enjoy it unbothered (there are photos of him & his girlfriend sitting on the pavement). I think people stalk him at hotels, airports and around venues, but he is very, very far from A listers level of fame.

I would also argue that in case of HR it is not only the fame but also intensity, which I think will come down as people will move to the next hot thing.

I’ve read it and I would say more dark crime thriller with a supernatural twist rather than horror. I don’t do horror either.

Any reccs for good mm romance to fill the gap? I’ve read all of Rachel’s books and the Him/Us books. Anyone read Tal Bauer? Just finished For The Fans by Nyla K 🔥🔥🔥🔥 It’s soooo good. Could not put it down!

@Fatrascal27, For the Fans is regarded as the gateway drug to MM romance! It’s probably still my favourite but Sweat by Jonah Yorke and Oleander by Scarlett Drake are good. I’ve also read other Nyla K and Rina Kent but they are variable.

I can’t wait for Season 2 to start filming and also to find out if Connor is coming back to Europe to continue filming Please. I also can’t wait for all his films to be released and possibly shown at Cannes/Venice.

I'm currently 2/3 way through You & Me by Tal Bauer. I'm not a huge fan of his stuff personally - I like a bit more spice 😆.

Some books/series I've loved:

Puckboys (Think I've mentioned this earlier in the thread) - there's 10 of these and they're a lot better than the title would suggest. There's one which is very Heated Rivalry coded with a russian hockey player - Stubborn Puckboy.

Home Ice - new this year, quite similar to The Shots You Take by Rachel Reid.

Hockey Guys series by Sarina Bowen

Open Era by Edward Schmit - This is less romance/spice but very well written.

I’ve read all the Tal books, they were decent enough.

Eden Finlay, Saxon James and ce Ricci are l good.

I’m currently reading the buffalo warriors books. They are entertaining enough.

What I liked about Rachel’s books is the characterisations. She really makes you care about them. I also think I appreciate quite a high level of spice which is why Nyla K hit so hard. (All my younger days of reading fan fic has changed my brain chemistry!)

Just thinking too I need a Kindle. I don’t have room for all these books and many mm books have really racy covers! Putting cutesy cartoon pics on HR books was a good move!
