I don't have a kindle but have to kindle app on my iPad and phone. Kindle unlimited is £10 a month so I get most books through that.

I've just finished You and Me so might give For the Fans a try.

@Fatrascal27, i agree, a book thread would have to go in the “what we’re reading” section and I’m not sure I have the stamina to introduce MM romance to MN.

If you have an AO3 account you can download fanfiction and send it to your kindle. I haven’t read a “real” book in months!
For The Fans is epic though.

I don’t mind fan fic occasionally but I like it to be canon.

Hudson and Connor spotted together in Toronto by the way. HR 2 is ON!

I started off with canon only but it’s a slippery slope and now I read anything!

Though I recently dipped into ‘Super Straight Broz’ ax everyone was talking about it. The plot is not dissimilar to FTF…oh my days though.

I know! SSB is hilarious! Not brilliantly written but such fun.

'Tennis Club' is my favourite, it includes Ilya & Shane but also Scott, Troy, Ryan and a lot of original characters. I think in terms of quality of writing this is the best one there. I find a lot of fanfics too melodramatic but this one is amazing, characters are shady, have issue with being in closet and behave like adults rather than melodramatic teenagers.

I also liked the zombie one 'I guess we are going to find out', which I wasn't sure about but it was amazing.

Half way through and…yeah.

It’s great isn’t it? I really loved the characters and their inability to keep away from each other. It’s very 🌶️ too obviously.

Is anyone on Goodreads? It's where I've found the majority of my MM reads. Only started the genre in May and I'm on my 45th book!

@ICantThinkOfOne13 a couple of us have read/are reading FTF. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it! Loved it.

I've just seen that! It's making me want to go back and read. It's one of the first MM books I read after Rachel Reid's books. I must be overdue another read!

I feel like I’m ‘banging on about it 🤣 but it’s a hot and addictive read. I love the Game Changers series but FTF is up there with those books for me.

Out of interest I searched MN to see if there has been discussion of MM romance books. There has. These discussions have gone as well as you would expect 🤦‍♀️.

I was with friends recently that asked ‘what does reading mm books say about you?’. Wtaf. What does reading books about serial killers say about you Alison???!!!

They are books. with happy ending. Bloody annoying people policing what we should read. I have an English degree. I’ve read aalll the literature. I still prefer my little gay romance stories.

The hearts invisible furies is great, of course theres the song of achilles, holding the man, Giovanni’s room.

I’m also still stuck on fanfics and now have the Softgoods app to keep track of them all (think Goodreads for fanfic!) so that’s just enabling me
