Naveed should have won POTW.

Needlenardlenoo · 16/02/2026 11:37

I thought Naveed's was beautiful and original, but I wouldn't expect cavolo nero in a "posy" so did it meet the brief?

Chrysanthemum5 · 16/02/2026 11:39

@Needlenardlenooi am old enough to remember the brief period in the 80s where it was a fashion for brides to have an ornamental cabbage as their bouquet! It was madness

Needlenardlenoo · 16/02/2026 11:44

Ornamental cabbage can be really pretty!

I think the judges must have had a long discussion over the Cabbage Conundrum as Siobhan referred to them taking ages?

Naveed should have won POTW.

I agree. If I was choosing one of my home I would choose his. The winning one was good but I found it boring. Naveed's was different and interesting

EnterQueene · 16/02/2026 14:10

Naveed's was different and interesting - he is really imaginative in his approach - but personally I thought the cavollo nero was quite ugly. My favourite was Angharad's but she was unlucky with a leaf falling onto her cow painting.

AlwaysRightISwear · 16/02/2026 15:12

They were all so.pretty apart from the veg one.

I did laugh at the fig leaf covering the cow's modesty though.

Yes, because they asked for something new or original.

Yes, because they asked for something new or original.

Oh well then he should have got it!

murasaki · 16/02/2026 17:21

She won the second challenge, so I think that's what swung it. I preferred his, despite wondering what the hell he was thinking when he started.

elgreco · 16/02/2026 17:47

Yes she won the challenge and i think he lost it. Or came close to last. That may have been the decider.

AlicePottery · 16/02/2026 18:07

He came last in the second challenge so that has to be what swung it.

I don’t like this type of pottery but I thought the potters makes where much better than the ones shown in the opening of the programme.

EnterQueene · 16/02/2026 18:36

The potters are amazing. I like episodes like this, where everyone is really good and can take joy in their make, even if they made some mistakes and have to leave. Emily’s was lovely & she said she enjoyed the process. It was just everyone else was superb.

Univerallyuniversal · 16/02/2026 22:30

I loved the gorgeous flower arrangements but for me Naveed’s was the winner.

Does anyone think that Siobhan fancies Naveed? She seems to flirt with him quite a lot.

Hedjwitch · 17/02/2026 20:03

I actually loved Emily's. The flowers were beautiful.

CrystalMighty · 18/02/2026 11:47

I was surprised by their comments about Fynn's lacking realism - have they never seen tropical flowers before?! Maybe it's just me, but i thought they were really realistic and quite striking (in a good way).
I really loved Emily's foxgloves. Shame she had to go 😌

AlicePottery · 22/02/2026 19:36

Evening all!

This one seems quite hard.

AlicePottery · 22/02/2026 19:55

Sioban looks fabulous again

Angharad 😳🥹

murasaki · 22/02/2026 19:55

Oh Angharad, that's so sad.

murasaki · 22/02/2026 19:59

This is going to be a harsh one to judge.

AlicePottery · 22/02/2026 20:04

I LOVE burnishing
