Why does the secret traitor need to be separate from the traitors ? ( hear me out) is it possible that say - Rachel - is a traitor AND the secret traitor so has been directing the other traitors ? And it’ll be Claudia in the cape ?

It annoys me too. There doesn’t seem to be a proper table to sit at anywhere. I understand they want to get people in different rooms but they could have a few small tables.

I have to stick with my first guess of Jade for ST after the first round table but I get that she didn’t want to be one. If it’s not her, I’m going Fiona or Harriet.
Strangely, I didn’t dislike Hugo, although he’s the type of person I generally would with all my internal biases! I know he was playing up at the table because he had actually murdered Ben, but he did make a fair point about them all jumping on the strategy straight away. He also looked quite upset when he was banished.

A player from another season said that what we see as dinner isn't actually dinner. Same as breakfast. They eat another breakfast at the hotel and 'dinner' is in the afternoon before hours of RT. I could imagine actual dinner is at the hotel in their room.

…and I agree about the scrunched-up eating but some of them have chosen to stay in the breakfast room and eat at that table in previous series.

Also don’t think she’s in any way ‘beautiful’ as was said in another thread. Its not about their looks though in fairness.

Traitors are supposed to be as hard as nails. The harder they are, the more I like them, personally.

Or the envelope contained the name of the secret traitor, which they could reveal to Ben and Hugo, but not to us.

I don't know. There are likeable and good traitors and then there are traitors that give personality disorder vibes.

There's the breakfast room, with dining chairs and table... and the kitchen with the stools and worktop that they can sit and eat at.

I think this too, the timing of when the ST would be revealed would’ve been agreed in development by the production team from the start.

Potentially this could’ve gone on for ages, it’s unusual for a traitor to be caught this early.

I wonder though if there will be another secret traitor recruited once the current one is revealed to the traitors?

Yes me too. I thought after ep2 it could be her.

Although given what looks like a connection between her and Ross, it might be 'himself' after all! If the footage we've been seeing of the ST is for real, then the person does seem to be tall. But the last clip shown of the ST going into the castle looked like a woman walking to me.

I think Uncloaked inadvertently outed the secret traitor last night.

I don't see the point in recruiting another ST as the regular traitors haven't had the chance to play the game as they know it because the decision making part came with restrictions, and they have only just earned that power back.

I'm still not convinced of the ST. All it's got us doing is guessing who is it? But really? Who cares? Is it adding anything to the game? More fun would have been for everyone to know there was a ST (but obviously not who it is). At least then everyone could have appreciated the subterfuge from the beginning and maybe done something interesting with it. Otherwise it could end up as a bit of an anti-climax. Like the vicar reveal last time, or actually, the non-reveal of Roxy and Judy. Now it will be like meh, or after the fact. I literally have no interest in who the ST is tbh! (I'll graciously accept being wowed though if it does turn out to be a mic drop moment).

(I also thought Hugo was a terrible choice of traitor. Pompous people are rarely good traitiors. Perhaps that was deliberate so there was an early exit?)
