It’s thin. Can’t keep much in there

apart from 2 umbrellas (season 1)

I'm not sure whether this is for here or S&B but I love Patience's backpack! Does anyone know where it might be from?

I think Patience is good, but prefer Astrid: Murder in Paris, which is back on!
Glad that the plot lines have now been separated.

Also, liked Professor T, both Belgian and British.

Yes I suspect it would be wildly impractical really, but I love the look of it!

Thanks for the links 🙂

I think the 'sister' storyline is an indication that Series 3 has been / is to be commissioned, which is good news. Smile

I think so , it was finished as a cliffhanger .

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/01/2026 21:20

Anyone watching

patience and Frankie are held gunpoint as Frankie‘s past emerges and patience follows her heart and learned life changing news.

That means we find out who the woman is?

I’m guessing sister.

In the opening flashback credits, are all those young girls supposed to be Patience? Because the one with the long hair doesn't really look like her, she looks more like her sister really.

I liked Professor T. Wonder if coming back.
Just to say if my DCs brought home an Elliot I’d be a very happy bunny. Perfect son in law material.

She knows everything

but didn’t work out joy was her sister

i did 😛😛

smug blondes

an she’s back with Elliot

I love a happy ending

tho she didn’t look too chuffed to find out she had a sister

They're the kind of things that autustic people don't pick up on. My daughter is just like Patience. She is an annoying know it all 😂 but hasn't got a clue how to live with people. She also moans about the smallest of noises, to the extent I questioned my own hearing for a while!

Did you watch last night? Poor Astrid

Oh I’m glad they’ve also been separated, it was annoying me so much that the plot lines were the same

So did I. I love the way that the relationship between Patience and Frankie developed.

DH and I binge watched it and are sad that it has finished. I only live an hour away from York and need to go for another visit now.

daffodilandtulip · 03/02/2026 08:32

We knew she'd accept her in the end but I think it was nicely and realistically done. (As realistic as an admin person solving multiple crimes can be, anyway!)

Madcats · 03/02/2026 08:58

”I do not need a new rucsac…I do not need a new rucsac…” but thank you for the link.

Some of the filming locations had been bugging me and it turns out they are in Belgium. I am somewhat relieved because one of the first things I said to DH was that Patience’s attic bedroom was “really unusual for a house in York”.

There’s definitely a third season coming. 😁

I’ve just discovered this series and love it!
The lead actress is fantastic and many of her behaviours remind me of my DS’s Asperger’s.
So glad to hear there’s going to be a third series.

The actress who plays Patience has autism.

RipplePlease · 08/02/2026 08:58

@Gorgeouslygorgeous
Yes that’s right, she’s fantastic.
The series deals with autism in such a sensitive genuine way IMO. Nothing is rushed, the characters other than Patience ring very true…the way the main male police officer’s attitude towards Patience evolves through the episodes is very touching.
The message I take from this series regarding autism and NTs’ reaction to it is…be patient.
The best representation I’ve seen so far.

Squirrelandnuts · 25/02/2026 22:37

Professor T was an English version of the Belgian Professor T. The Belgian one was better. But, know beats Frances de la Tour.

Of course, the same with Patience and Astrid. Astrid is more 'autistic than Patience in her mannerisms. There is better a better back story, how Astrid learnt from her father how to assess cases.

I love Astrid's support group, it's really informative and revealing. I have a non-verbal autistic young man, and any insights and different ways of understanding him are welcome.

But, with support was able to pass her police exams which were requested by the Police Commissioner after a gruesome case. Doing that, improved her self confidence, knowledge and skills.

However, I am glad there is some deviation from the plot lines to the Astrid drama.

JewelleryCat · 25/02/2026 23:33

@Squirrelandnuts I've never seen Professor T, is it good?

Yes, Patience is now deviating from Astrid which is good but before, they were following the storylines from the same murder to the same murderer
