What Christmas film should I watch while step wrapping today?

I'm planning on using today to finish my wrapping while the baby (hopefully) naps.

Recommendations for lightheaded/fun Christmas films to watch l watch while I do it would be great, can be on any of the main channels, netflix, Disney or Appletv. Doesn't need to be a classic or have good reviews, just something easy to follow and fun!

So far this week I've watched - Nativity, Father Christmas is Back, Best Christmas Ever and Single all the Way.

Click and collect. It’s super funny and well acted. Stephen Marchant is in it. It’s on iPlayer and Netflix. Nativity is also a good film. Happy wrapping. I’ve done all mine and I used an ironing board instead of doing it on my knees. Game changer. I flew through it.

The Muppets Christmas Carol.
I've got to watch one i know really well, otherwise I get distracted and stop wrapping, 2 hours later when the film ends I realise, ive not wrapped anything and just watched the film!

The Family Stone

hby9628 · 19/12/2025 07:12

I wrapped mine watching My Secret Santa on Netflix. Was perfect. Entertaining but didn’t need 100% attention

champagne problems is a good film too

firstofallimadelight · 19/12/2025 07:14

Such fun was quite good on prime but if you want a Christmas feel I’d go miracle on 34th street

Nannyfannybanny · 19/12/2025 07:30

I imagine it will take a lot of paper to wrap the steps! It's a Wonderful Life, James Stuart.. Scrooge,Alister Sym version.

Champagne problems is terrible - and not in a good way! And I'm generally all for the 'business woman with no work life balance goes to one horse town and falls for charming carpenter' type Christmas films.

Elf or Arthur Christmas all the way.

ConnieHeart · 19/12/2025 08:02

I want to see Oh What Fun

ThatJadeLion · 19/12/2025 08:06

It's got to be a Christmas with the Kranks, I always watch this when wrapping. Or national lampoons Christmas vacation

Biffsboys · 19/12/2025 08:25

Muppet Christmas Carol. No contest.

Hard agree. Although I always think of it as more of an 'all the family together' film than a casual 'watch and look away' present wrapping film.

There should be special classifications for this!

Oh yes! I missed that one off my 'seen already this week' list - i agree it's very good!

I've gone for my secret santa.

Thanks to those who suggested Spirited.... I really like the look of it but think DH will enjoy it too so I'm saving that to watch with him.

Definitely, but when you’ve seen it 30 times you don’t actually need to look at the screen…🤣

Fantastic username btw. You must really know where your towel is.

My wrapping movie is Love Actually. Sorry, not sorry

I can even use it to dry myself, if it's clean enough!

And I have seen MCC lots of times but I still like to watch. "Light the lamp, not the rat!" Best line from any film, ever.

ThisAlertRaven · 19/12/2025 10:14

RachTheAlpaca · 19/12/2025 11:10

Are you me?

grafittiartist · 19/12/2025 11:20

Not a fun Christmas film- but I always do my wrapping to “All Aboard! The Sleigh ride”.
It’s gorgeous and it’s calm.
