Watching Coronation Street so I know what's going on in Corriedale and boy I think I might need anti depressants because the itv writers are really pushing the misery.

I really hope Corriedale is worth all the hype, I suspect it may not be.
I hope we have several characters killed, I would be very happy if April was one.

Thanks. I was thinking it was 7.30 tonight. I was also thinking today was Wednesday which didn’t help.

I know we’ve discussed this before, but I’m really gutted that Joe Absolom is going to have to go. He’s such a damned good actor and “nice” Ray is great. I just can’t see how he is remotely redeemable or how he’d get away with just walking away from the operation or Celia and living in the village with Laurel. I did also wonder if he’d try and recruit Arthur. I’ve got too much time on my hands worrying about this 😆

@TheFormidableMrsC having watched tonight's episode Ray's story takes an unexpected turn! I also rate Joe Absolom's acting.

I somehow think they will try and find a way to keep Ray in. He's got to be a viewer favourite. He's definitely one of mine! Celia definitely won't be able to stay in, neither will John but I reckon they might keep Kev.

I shall be watching it whilst eating lemon drizzle cake....it seems only fitting.

Ooh I really love Ray, I was hoping they could find a way to keep him, fingers crossed. He's always been such a great actor, the way he can switch from villain to nice guy in the same scene is brilliant. I actually like him with laurel his personality with her is great. Unlike most villains across the soaps where you actually despise them when they come on screen. April's acting was so bad last night, I know I'm not a fan of hers but it was particularly noticeable in the woods last night at how not such a good actor is.
