I also want to know why Max was arrested for solicitation of murder. Who did he want dead? Ravi? So many questions. I hopes the answers do not turn out to be a damp squib😅

Whoever Max wanted dead, the charges didn’t stick and the police have messed up.
The money spent on raiding the house and so on , the police must have had evidence of some kind yet he was out very quickly. Unless someone else intervened to get him off? another mystery.
Plus max run off, surely that demonstrates guilt too?
Anyway, have to look for the clues now and we might know who are Ethan’s parents are by Easter time if not before. I doubt that Max will ask anyone to marry him until at least October or November.
It’ll be the Max story of what got him into this mess and why the babies had to be rescued.

We need to bookmark this thread to come back in Dec/Jan to see who was right

70s yes we'll have forgotten all this talk by then!
I am expecting a lot of tedious 'misdirection' with Max getting together with different women over the year.

Jack stole Tanya from max and she wouldn't take him back after
The bothers always go for each others women
Look at Christmas where it came out jack slept with Stacy ,who max still sees as his .
So to get his own back on jack ,max makes a play for Denise
He doesn't really want Denise,he just wants to hurt jack
So it's max and Denise getting married and that's why Libby is back .
The pregnant woman in Max's bed ,might be part of the drugs gang or whatever he got involved in ,and she may of been sent by the gang to keep tabs on him or might dob him in to the police

So what’s on it for Denise to marry Max? Jack isn’t much of a prize but he’s got more going for him than Max.

Because they never venture out of the Square and Max is one of the only ones she hasn't had a fling with.
They remind me of Bumper Cars /Dodgems going round and round the track , crossing over , bumping into someone

Two marriages and two daughters before she came to Albert Square

Jack&Jack has been moping about like a well skelped arse for a while .
I'm not a MaxFan but he does have some charm to him.

Cheap Polyester Suit Man needs to re-appear and now we have GreenJacket Man to add to the mix .

I was thinking maybe Ian has some good points ( he can cook) but no , I wouldn't go there myself .

Oh yes I agree, Max gives it some welly with the charm - well, he does when he isn't drowning in a vat of self-pity, or drinking himself into oblivion. Or shagging teenagers, or ruining weddings and christenings. 🙃

If it’s Denise , why did she storm off? Her wedding shoes and things were in his house. Surely she would have moved out , not be getting dressed there for a wedding , unless the items were someone else’s of course and it’s all another red herring!
I bet that the writers don’t even know yet who is ‘ the bride’!
I am still wondering if Zoe will go to prison too.

Ian is too smug. I don’t understand why any of his former wives loved him. Jane adored him.
I can see Max’s appeal, but this latest return his been awful , self pity, drinking , causing havoc
He hasn’t even asked anyone how Zoe is .. it’s all about him isn’t it. Or not my fault. He even said it to Lauren , but I bet the boys be in rescued is because of something his done. He is a disaster

80s - was the scene with Denise's dress at Jack's house? If so she isn't marrying Max.

Jack seemed to have been sitting there feeling sorry for himself for some time, so maybe Denise was annoyed she was left to do all the work with Ethan. And Jack wasn't getting ready for the wedding either so she could be annoyed about that (if it's Chelsea's wedding). Denise was talked about but she wasn't shown, I wonder if there is any reason for that.

I agree with you ,That actually wouldn't suprise me ,if the the writers haven't decided on who the bride is yet .
Maybe they will look at public opinion over the year ..maybe they read this thread and we can influence them 🤣🤣😟

It was strange that we saw Libby and not Denise and she has rushed off without her phone that she left on the table.
It annoyed me that shoes were on a table at Dee’s!
I do wonder who the bride is. Jack said ‘ I’m going to phone the bride’ , which is odd if it was his own wife ( or maybe ex wife!) but appreciate it was all for plot purposes only of course and none of it made any sense. Unless Jack was being sarcastic , but he didn’t look too happy , the only one we saw who wasn’t chipper! If it is Dee ( which is probably isn’t ) she’ll have a hectic few months getting divorced and arranging a wedding. Expensive times ahead .. lol
( not that money seems to bother them much )

Also what if someone gets pregnant
Or they sack someone like they did jay
Or someone dies
So I suppose the whole thing could be a dream of Max's ,while he is in hospital after an accident or attempt to kill him

Honestly, does the fiancée have to be one of the four shown? For all we know, the fiancée could be someone we last saw in 1998 who’s returned because their coach to Clacton broke down!

But my theory for what its worth…Am convinced it has to be Priya. The woman adores a bad boy. And she’s somehow made it this far without having an affair OR a dramatic pregnancy storyline, which in EE terms is statistically impossible.

So naturally she ends up pregnant by Max — because of course she does. Max only has to breathe near a woman and suddenly there’s a baby plot. Meanwhile Ravi is absolutely livid, because Priya ditching him for Max is not going to be let drop.
Ravi tries to set Max up with the police, but this is Max Branning we’re talking about — the man has survived worse, a police setup isn’t even a warm‑up for him.
So Ravi escalates in true EE fashion: he kidnaps Lauren and Oscar. Because why ruin one life when you can ruin three?

Meanwhile, over at the Vic, Nicola and George have decided they deserve a date night — because nothing says romance like shouting over the fruit machine. Jack is left babysitting, which is already a disaster waiting to happen in 2027.

I did think where was nic and Georges baby .

I said earlier this week that the interaction with Priya and Max in the flash forward episode may be significant, but going from Ravi to marrying Max is even more incredible than Denise marrying Max after being with Jack. An affair, though, that's quite believable.

Jack isn’t going to the wedding and looked upset didn’t he, plus the baby looked tiny and Nic’s one is due April time or may. Plus Lauren said to Jack ‘
you need to be ok for Ethan ‘ as if he was his main carer and not just for a few hours. Agsin it may all be interpretations, but for Jack and Pet ahh to not go to this wedding means his done something bad ..
( or the bride has, but that’s more unlikely )

The cast we saw on Thursday have probably been put on some kind of warning by the producers : don’t say anything bad on your socials , don’t do anything to get sacked and don’t change your look too much ! ( Cindy is ok as she had her hair up in a towel and we didn’t see Dee at all!)
I guess the rest is out of their control , such as a death or having time off for any emergencies , lots of fingers being crossed 🤞

It must be great for those cast members in that episode to know they have a job for the next year!
btw if Jack was going to be best man but cancelled last minute, it could never have been Denise or her daughter.
Linda and Cindy are too old to be pregnant.

If its not Priya, can it be Zoe? thats why there was noone at the bar, the Slaters are getting ready for the wedding?

@DoneTeachin I like it, I can definitely see Priya shagging Max, she was cosying up to Ian for a while so she likes an older guy with cash. And Ravi is a good guess for the gunman. I am willing to bet your scenario makes much more sense than what we will actually get😆
