Not just one but two need to be up the duff quick - Max's victim, plus whoever is the mother of Ethan (probably Penny).

I think that Penny is Ethan’s mum too. It makes sense ) which probably means it won’t be her at all!)
I hope it’s not Amy as I like her and she is sensible.
Ricky must have learnt his lesson over contraception by now !

Weddings do happen very quickly on EE though so Max might not start shagging whoever he is going to marry for months yet.

It’s not inconceivable that he would start a relationship with someone in eg the Summer and they decide to get married by the following January. There have been many spontaneous, surprise weddings and he is very impulsive.

I think there will be lots of red herrings, possibly multiple liaisons with different women and then the bride turns out to be someone unexpected.

Ethan looked a few months old, meaning he is due to be born around October this year so Penny whoever falls pregnant needs to get upduffed in the next couple of months👀

They do get married quickly and hardly any shopping involved, it kind of just happens! Max ( or bride) has obviously hired Ian to organise the ‘ pulled pork’

Was that the guy who was part of an influencers/z listers visit to the Square who put it up as a joke that he was joining?

Chelsea and Harry can get it on.
Then Baby Ethan can be theirs and Nic can be really off with her 'cos she's either refusing to let her see the baby or taken him away from 'arry and he'll spiral back into his drug addiction. Maybe that;s why she's got the injury ? Did they have a physical fight ?

I cannot see Chelsea with Max . But if he did save her baby's life she might feel some gratitude to him.
I did wonder if the veil she had was a tutu /bridesmaid dress but for whom?

I can’t see this wedding going ahead ( Ian will have to eat the pulled pork on his own or maybe with Nicola , George and Patrick)
Max is going to have to rescue his older children from gun holding person New Year’s Day. It was already getting dark when he saw the video , it’s bound to be a run through a spooky wood or a car chase ahead.
luckily pet ahh can look after the boys. Poor Louie , he hasn’t any hope of a normal childhood has he ..

Id love Janine to rock up! She would marry him for money .. and cause havoc esp as Linda hates her

Most of these candidates are too old for Max, Denise are Cindy are practically drawing their pensions in Max terms, and even Linda and Janine are pushing it. He likes em young, Chelsea is the only one under 40! Pearl can be bridesmaid.

Chelsea and Max tick each others boxes. She has terrible taste in men and he likes younger glam women. She said something about finding him attractive in the card so that will mean a ONS in the offing at the very least.

I hope it’s not Stacey. He’ll mess her around and it’ll never last. It was bad enough before wasn’t it , but she may turn up as ( another ) red herring.

I am of the opinion it’s a Cindy / Ian set up and gun person isn’t anyone who would kill his older children, but just to make him think they might!
it’s revenge and those two do work well together better than apart

Plus.. Cindy has knowledge of hit men ! She is fearless

And I'm sure Cindy was getting ready in the Beal bedroom so may be back with Ian.

Oh yes Cindy did hire a hitman to kill Ian once. And she shot him herself with Phil’s gun last year (albeit accidentally). Maybe she’s the one holding Lauren and Oscar hostage so she can lure Max into Epping Forest. Didn’t Tanya once bury him in a coffin there??!

My speculations are full of holes though !
It also adds the risk that Ian and Cindy could be done for solicitation of murder too and having to rely on the hit man or woman to carry this out at the time they wanted , plus it’s their sons wife and brother that are being threatened, Lauren isn’t guilty of hurting Ian and Cindy or Oscar , it’s max they hate. I didn’t think of this aspect tbh, just the Lucy and Steven angle and why is Ian best man ? I still think he is trying to set him up , but maybe the gun holding person wasn’t factored in by Ian !

When they kept saying ‘ bride’ I also thought of kill bill !
Maybe Lauren is an informer of some kind and it’s her being targeted via max ? Why she’d be doing that is a mystery though along with Oscar..
Sharon isn’t Max’s type either really .. Chelsea fits his MO ( so to speak ) plus it ties in with the Truman’s and the Brannings , Jack and Dee.

So, Shazza is The Bride. Max is marrying her because she’s actually the owner of The Queen Vic again (remember, these business transactions can be done and dusted over ONE PHONE CALL) and Max wants in on the Vic.
The gunman is our very own bad boy Grunt Mitchell. He’s holding Max’s kids hostage cos he wants Shazza (of course he does. There’s nothing more attractive than when it’s unavailable!)

Like the idea that Grant is back! I doubt this unless it’s a fleeting visit to capture his true love and go off again.
Sharon nearly married Jack once , so she likes a Branning and Ian wouid be involved for his bestie ( who once tried to poison him, but he has forgiven that episode )

Sharon being the bride means her being a big part of the show for at least this year and given
Letitia Dean’s frequent absences I just can’t see Sharon being involved in this story.
