If Chelsea marries Max she is simultaneously Denise’s daughter and her sister in law🤯. Also step sister and aunt to Jacks kids. It’s too much.

I actually don’t think the bride be any of the women picking up their mobiles. It will be someone who wasn’t shown in the episode. Only thing that intrigues me is Ian saying “a year ago it would have bothered me but not now”. That suggests Cindy but I really don’t think she’s the one getting married, it’s all too obvious and even by EE standards it would be demented for her to marry the man who killed her son. She was however the only one who looked unhappy and calculating when she was getting ready so maybe the PP’s idea about a plot cooked up by her and Ian is correct. But Max is surely too savvy to fall for that?? All so confusing!

I don’t remember April and Suzy!

I’m all caught up now and baffled by a lot of the flash forward, which I suppose is the point.

My first theory was -

Max has a one-night bunk-up with Priya, probably after she has a row with Ravi over his continued involvement in drug deals. She gets pregnant.

In the meantime, before the pregnancy is revealed, Max gets involved with some dodgy business with Ravi and starts a proper relationship with someone (Chelsea?) and they are getting married on NY Day.

Pregnancy is revealed at Christmas - either around the table as Christmas dinner is served, or at the Vic in front of everyone (obvs).

Chelsea forgives Max as they weren’t together when he had it away with Priya. But Ravi goes MAD and kicks Priya out (hence her sleeping in Max’s bed - he couldn’t leave his ‘babymum-to-be’ out on the street, even on the eve of his wedding).

Ravi then decides to get revenge on Max by fitting him up (no ideas yet about who he is meant to have been conspiring to murder) and kidnapping Lauren & Oscar.

I agree with previous posters, though. The whole thing is probably one big red herring fest, and it’ll turn out to be all just a dream drunk Kathy had after one lambruni too many!

Suzy had a thing with Philth for a while
April was lovely , she was getting married but whatever happened she didn't so Carol married Alan.
She was the nicest of the siblings
Jim was a nasty piece of work back then but in true Eastenders style he had an Epiphany and a Personality Transplant to become Lovely Ole' Jim Branning

Ian Beale helping Max would have to be a dream , he has more reason than most to despise him.

They love to throw a curve ball, so I'm calling it. Max is marrying Vicky.

Who would Ian potentially have a problem with Max marrying that he has ‘got over’, other than Cindy?

Shell (cousin, but not Max’s type)

70 I think the Branning women are all too old for babies (even on Albert Square). Carol must be at least 60 since Bianca is late 40s. April is older than Carol. Not sure about Suzie but assuming she is in her 50s!

Might be completely off track here but going off the songs on the radio playing for Chelsea, Linda and Cindy, Chelsea's was 'Hope', the other two were 'Alone' and 'Loneliness' so going for Chelsea as the bride 😀

I thought Ian making the year ago comment, was referring to how a year ago he wouldn't be his best man, and not anything to do with the bride. Which is true, as at the moment there's no way Ian would be Max's best man he has just tried to pay him off!

Max has clearly saved two children’s lives. It was mentioned by Lauren to Jack that Ethan and Jimmy wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for him.
Nicola’s comment about Chelsea was interesting, she has major beef with her. She did look and sound as if she was aware max was going to be arrested, so clearly going to be involved a lot. Why was her ankle hurt and where was her baby ?

The policewoman ( after we hear the bathroom door open up ) came out the front door and said to the other police ‘ we have a problem’ , which could mean that Max had got away or the woman was in labour !

Libby did pick up her mums phone and said to someone ( can’t remember who now) look who it is ! It may have been Jack trying to call Denise after he called the bride though.
jack looks upset ,yet Dee has stormed off. It does hint there that it’s probs Chelsea who is the bride and she wants her to call it off. Probably because Ethan’s mum has died or something like that?

You hear music a lot during most of the episodes and it annoys me at times as you don’t see a radio on or where the music is actually coming from or why they don’t turn it off if it’s during an angsty scene !
I want to know where max is living too as he can’t be at the b and b , but it didn’t look that big and all fairly new. He had photos around , so moved in with his own things , which is odd as he turned up a few weeks ago with just one holdall!

The baby could be Chelsea’s and that’s why he was with Jack and Denise. The fact he was upset was over something else, that someone had tried to kidnap Ethan and Jimmy and max rescued them or Dee and him are not together now ( or had a row)
He wasn’t going to this wedding, but was willing to see if he could get max off these charges!
Max looked sheepish about pregnant women when questioned over her too.

Did we get a glimpse of baby Ethan to work out if he could be Chelsea’s? Could be another guessing game like with Zoe’s where we saw her babies were mixed heritage. Although I’m sure Lauren said something like “you’ve got Ethan to look after now” as if he was with living with Jack permanently.

My wildcard theory for the bride was Gina as this would explain Cindy looking quite unhappy and Peter boycotting the wedding. Plus she loves to fix broken men (Jay, Harry) But then George was just sat in the pub and clearly not going to the wedding so that doesn’t stack up…

George is turning into a bit part! Hopefully he’ll feature more as clearly ( so it seems) he is with Nicola.
Where was her baby ?
It Chelsea was marrying Max , why would Nic even be in the pub ? She didn’t seem to be a guest.

The baby might be Chelsea’s or Penny’s , Ricky’s or Amy. My money is on penny , but she died during the the great rescue episode that involves Max.
I bet it’s a car chase , because that is why P is in a wheelchair originally and that was because Jack was a corrupt cop once.

OK, here's my thoughts
Lauren is a grass
Max is shagging Stacey but marrying Chelsea
Baby Ethan is Penny's and she died/was injured in the drama in the Vic (broken window)
Max rescues the babies from the drama he created by arranging a murder.
No idea why Ian is involved in the wedding so bride may be someone vaguely related to him. Vicky would make sense if green jacket man is Mark Fowler.
I think I need to rewatch at some point

Vicki isn’t Max’s type really. It wouid be a stretch for it to be her, but would make sense why Ian is best man. Unless it’s another relative of his, but Kathy wasn’t going along and she did say to him ‘ why are you doing this ?’ Making us think it’s Cindy of course
