One thing that makes me hesitate about that theory is that I don’t think Max would fall for it, also he’s not into older women…but maybe he’s planning on double crossing them for some reason.

did anyone else see the speculation that “man” in green jacket is Mark Fowler Jr? Apparently the audio description said something like ‘Max waves to mark’. Would explain why he was hanging about behind Ian when talking about wedding.

Mark Fowler junior is Grant’s boy isn’t he? Grant and Michelle I can’t believe how bored he looked tbh hanging around!
Might be a Mitchell connection as well , but we didn’t see any others yesterday.

Yes Grant’s son and Vicki’s brother so plausibly could be there - also Ian/Peter’s cousin etc.

I wonder if Phil will be shoe horned in. He likes a gangster story and once Nigel is in a home ( or dies ) he’ll be a loose end. He has had run ins with most of them historically, so might be on the fringes somewhere.

The man in the green jacket, is pally in some form with Max, because Max waved to him out the window at the beginning of the episode

I agree they will be celebrating the success of the episode, dodgy camera angles aside, it was a good episode and has got everyone talking. They need to celebrate and knuckle down, ensuring it is executed well, they can't relax just yet, this is just the beginning. They need to learn from the mistakes made in the six

How would Max know Mark junior?
I can’t see Michelle ( new head) or Grant coming back.
Unless Max buys the car lot back and hires him to work there! Or his one of his drug runners.

I suppose he is Beale and part of the new Beale/Branning dynasty 😀😀. Lauren’s cousin in law? Although thinking now he had an English/Londom accent and surely Mark Jr would be American (although Vicki only lived in the square for a couple of years about 20 years ago and has a full on accent too!)

Also, Patrick asks Nic if she has seen Chelsea and she said ‘ I’d rather eat glass’ so a big problem there.

I missed the Harry and Penny interlude. Maybe Ethan’s dad is Harry then.

I don't think Penny has slept with Harry in aeons. The only contact Penny had with him recently was to give him a pep talk.

Denise’s table had wedding shoes on it and what looked like a dress in a cover..
Shoes on a table is a no no.. bad luck apparently
Cindy looked pensive and Chelsea looked happy. Linda looked indifferent. Dee had stormed off and Libby saw a call on her phone. Jack may have called any of them from the police station.
Stuck in the middle with you was a song that sounded ominous for Oscar and each possible bride had their own songs ( not any I knew ) although Dee didn’t have a song.
lauren said something that implied Oscar is having an affair or something too..

Green jacket man was outside and hanging around when Oscar and Ian went to ask the police why was Max being arrested.
Max waved to him from his window.

If GreenJacketMan is Joey Branning then hopefully Lauren isn't having an affair with him ( again) 'cos that's her cousin , though she didn't know last time .

i don't think Lauren is having an affair, i think she's being an informant for something.

I was wondering if Jack is the father of baby Ethan. It seems Denise is still living in the house but he was taking off his wedding ring when Lauren was talking to him…

Chelsea looked like a bride to be.

Whatever shit Max has landed in, I think Nicola is behind it. She sounded quite mocking when she asked why he’d been arrested, as if she already knew.

I’m also convinced Max is not having an affair with pregnant woman.

I need to watch it again to catch all the bits I missed.

Max has three sisters -
April, Carol, Suzy
Could one of them be pregnant woman and crashed at his for the night ( in a Sharing Space way not anything tawdry )

Carol is late 50s or early 60s so not a candidate for pregnancy

April and Suzy probably not far behind but this IS Eastenders !
Who every it is doesn't care he's marrying someone else .

It seems he is marrying Chelsea and Denise is not particularly happy about it because of dodgy goings on.
