Whenever Vinny pops up it takes me a while to remember his name. For a soap character he is really boring but perhaps there’s stories planned for him next year because the current producer has axed quite a few of the spare part characters since he joined in the summer and Vinny has survived.

Anyone notice that the double Gin and Tonic served to Jasmine by Alfie had no ice and lemon. It looked rank.

The Vinny actor said he started filming a 'big' storyline in November, maybe him getting together with Penny is the start of it. I don't think he's got a huge acting range so not sure what they could give him really. Even last night all he got was about 15 seconds of screen time, blink and you'd miss it! I'm always surprised he's still here.

Love our little click on here! I know I moan about it , but it’s entertaining at times and some good acting counteracts the bad ones.
Be nice to share your views on what might happen after tonight’s one goes out!!

Reading this thread also keeps me more interested in EE than I would be otherwise! I often watch it and think, 'oh I wonder what the MN lot are going to say about that!' It's always good to know you aren't alone in your views or sometimes to see another side of it.

I like the idea of Vinny and Penny as a couple - Penny hasn't had a lot of good things happen to her really and she is always on the edge of other people's families, but stays feisty and usually has something worth listening to. Vinny could go either way I think as he's been involved in some very dodgy things in the past.

I like this thread too so thanks @Southeastdwellerfor keeping it going. I don’t know anyone IRL who watches so it’s good to have somewhere to vent, discuss and laugh about EE.

Is EastEnders on this Friday or am I being overoptimistic?

I think Vinny is only still there as he's so pointless that the scriptwriters forget about him and can't be bothered to write him out. He's almost an extra these days, Shrimpy has more lines.

So Vinny would've been like a deer in the headlights !

She wouldn't have looked at him twice otherwise .

But if they're an item, they can be "Pinnie"

Like @cramptramp I don't know anyone IRL who watches so this is a good place to have a (semi) serious discussion about EE. I mean, I know it's not real, but that doesn't mean it's not important!

Just watched now. Max will never change, there are still plenty of women who like a "bad boy" just see some of the relationship threads on here. Nice try by Linda.
I'm glad he is staying he's a great character.
The baby scan and the Rolls Royce are new from the trailer flash forward.
Do we think the gun is the one Jack and Ravi had and shot Zoe?
Nicola is too far on far that to be her scan surely?
Was the car Kat and Harvey bought a Roller?
I think its all intriguing but hope it doesn't turn into the shambles The Six did!

I don't like the idea of a flash forward episode. It's almost as if the producers are saying 'We know it's shit now, but pretty please, stay with us' as they can see their audience shrinking by the day. A bit pathetic really.

I think currently max is doing a fantastic job of making it feel like old EastEnders again .

Hopefully it's Cindy he's marrying,I think there's lots of potential there .
I think Zac and Zoe are a good match
And I'd love Shirley back ..my absolute favourite actor is our shirl , especially her relationship with heather,I miss that dynamic ,like minty and gary .

I'm hoping jumpers left due to the old producer ,and the new one might bring him back ??
But at the same token ,I'm kind of hoping NIC and George get together,George could easily fill the jumpers shaped hole .

But the star of the show is the fantastic Oscar...oh my goodness what a talented young man ..he captivates every scene he is in ..I hope they are paying him well

Not sure how many weeks Nicola is now.
It must be 15 or so by now as she had the 12 week scan a few weeks ago.
The scan photo might be a red herring. They laid enough of those for the six, but it feels significant
