Thinking back to the christening, I don’t even know why it happened because originally it was just a cover story Lauren and Ian used when Peter overheard them talking about the stolen money. Lauren had no genuine interest in christening Jimmy so I thought it wouldn’t go ahead once her cover was blown and the theft exposed. Appreciate it had to happen for plot reasons so Cindy and Max would clash (and how unbelievable is it that during the entirety of their sexual encounter neither one of them told the other their name!)

I don’t anyone ( apart from Dh and I ) who watch EE I’m real life. People go ‘ you still watch that rubbish ‘ :(
I am a proud fan though , but agree it’s been a bit rank this year , but the Reiss and Martin dying 40 th anniversary wasn’t too bad. At least they brought Angie back ! That was a surprise

Having Bianca back was absolute gold
Loved her in the scenes with grant

I wish Bianca had stayed on.
She is in the old episodes I watch sometimes and she is great

Hollyoaks already did it - was Ben in charge there then I wonder

But it’s not that different to The Six story, which was orchestrated by the previous executive producer. One difference being there being a whole episode of the flash forward in this story rather than separate scenes.

Looking forward to watching the flash forward.

Couldn’t stand her screeching voice

It’s on tonight, there hasn’t been an iPlayer early release.

Tonight 7.30, they haven't put it on iplayer yet I don't think.

I thought The Six was brilliant until it all inevitably fell apart. It was great to give that storyline to six really strong female characters. But even Chris Clenshaw, who was pretty good, couldn't make it all hang together properly in the end. So there is no hope Ben Wadey will. I fear it'll be Zoe all over again, going round in circles until we reach a sudden conclusion when it all fizzles out.

Speaking of which, Zoe is now in jail charged with murder and nobody really seems to care much do they? Jasmine certainly doesn't.

Kind of hoping Jasmine turns out to not be her daughter and it was all part of the plot with Chrissy ,and Jasmine killed Dr evil ...which would explain why she didn't seem that upset her dad was dead , because he's not her dad .
Jasmine's adoptive mum said Jasmine was ...what did she say about jasmine ..was it she was dangerous or something..I can't remember.
But yeah that's what I'm hoping anyway

Possibly because of bad writing, bad planning and actors going off on leave at the last minute, EE stories have a tendency to get convoluted. I would be happy if this flash forward story with Max turns out to be a whodunnit (Max being murdered), and for the story to be done simply over the course of this year. It could be very effective but I don’t have much confidence in the current producer.

No, that’s true. Nobody cares about Zoe being charged It was left with Kat asking J about chrissie’s whereabouts and nothing more was said after that.
It is all a bit disjointed atm.

Very disjointed. The excuse why Tanya wasn’t at the christening was pretty lame.

Janine and Max would have been a toxic combination
He did marry Rainie , that was a shock at the time.
One of his wives ( Kirsty) was a one feisty too.

I’m sure I’ve said this before but can’t see a reason for Tanya to return.

However, if she did return there’d be sparks all round with Max, Cindy, Peetah, Lauren etc. unless they did a new head Tanya. Jo Joyner it seems has moved on career wise, still acting though.

Bring back Rainie and Stuart. I liked them.

I liked stuart.
He did appear briefly last year .. was nice to see him.

If AJ returns then surely she'd be accompanied by Tanya? She wouldn't be coming to live with flaky grandad Max. Wish they'd call her Abi jnr tbh.
