Four. I definitely remember when channel 5 was launched!

I've just realised in my younger years it was 4 and then channel 5 came into existence. We never really watched that channel though, didn't have any good programmes!

3 when I was born but I dont remember that time. I remember 4 (I was about 17/18 when Chanel 5 launched).

4 in primary school. I remember 5 being launched and watching home and away’s first episode

Technically 3 but we weren't allowed to watch ITV because it was common.

3 - I was working in London when Ch4 launched and remember Roland Rat and the Green Goddess! And DH and I remember different programmes because his ITV was Yorksshire and mine was Anglia.

Very young - 4, slightly older child - 5, still a child legally - 30 (Freeview).

3 early on then Channel 4 aired. I remember being about 7 and watching the launch at my friends house.

We had 3. I remember Channel 4 being launched; a bunch of us at university sat in front of the TV in the Students' Union watching the first ever episode of Countdown. I'm old!

When did BBC 2 start? We used to rent our tv (normal then) and I have a memory of us getting an upgrade so we could get BBC 2.
