I take your point re Kim and the money , but she still needs to eat and pay bills! What’s Yolande and Partick putting in? Partick didn’t seem too keen to make dinner for the community! Although I did read that Kat and Alfie also get involved , so I guess they will come together for Xmas day etc.
Gina needs to get back to work really. If she can run around looking for H, she can get back behind a bar. Who has replaced Jasmine at the Albert ?

Jasmine is back next week, and apparently we all find out more about her on Monday. I couldn't care less.
I agree the whole 2k thing is ridiculous.
I can't figure out what xmas will be, possibly the fire? I wonder who thought another fire was needed/necessary.
It's all such a muddled mess, I don't recognise any of the character's personalities, and I'm not invested in any of the scenarios.

80s but Kim did not mention food or bills, just retail therapy! When she hassled Howie for money it was for all the 'extras' she wanted.

We already know how they deal with having no money on EE - Only Fans, drug running or postal theft 😆

@cramptramp Harry is 23 so she must be early-mid 40s? The actress is 44.

If I were Yolande , I would have suggested a few hundred ( maybe 500) for the charity and the rest for the children : bills: school fees and what not.

Gina is such a lovely girl, you can’t imagine she is Cindy’s child ( or Anna)
Far too sweet, despite a bit of a dodgy past. She has turned out well.!

I knew Sam would get money out of Nige, she’s a proper wrongun.

I’ve a feeling that Sam hasn’t done anything.
How she’ll talk herself out of this in front of everyone is anyone’s guess, but I just hope she saw sense and nothing came of it in the end.

Harry's in the spoilers wanting revenge on Ravi. I'm so fed up with this storyline, it feels like it will never end.

There are spoilers out up to NYE, a lot of Max action but it sounds like things are still going round in circles (no surprises there).

Christmas isn’t the fire, that’s next week when Max and Linda return.
I suppose it may be Jasmine at Christmas , maybe Nigel getting worse or dying and the Max ‘flash forwards ‘ thing at new years.
May even discover who Zoe’s stalker is. One day! or who is the daddy.

I can’t even recall how the drug storyline started , it feels like it was years ago, but it was only around the summer time that it was Kojo and taking over his flat I think.
If Nic had let Harry confess, I feel that he may have been ok, but clearly jumpers actor wanted to leave and this is a good way of him going with off screen visits and the odd mention.

I haven't seen today's yet, but I have to say Sam's 'lump' storyline is so distasteful.

What a waste of the Teddy character. He was one of the few I genuinely liked. Agree it was shocking to pressure Kim to hand over the money. Don't get the Sam thing at all another plot written on the back of a fag packet. She thinks she's dying but hasn't seen a doctor and needs money to give to her son who she doesn't bother with. Ok then. At least we got a bread from Zoe, her boy and her stalker.

I don't even get why she would think she's dying. Peggy had breast cancer when she was in her 50s and recovered. She died from it 20+ years later as an elderly woman. Sam having a drama about dying is just annoying, no one would carry on like that.

Many actors can’t take how relentless soaps are. Hardly any time to rehearse and early starts etc
Maybe the Teddy actor just wasn’t keen and preferred films ?
Anyway, his now away and unless he gets a new head in 20 years time I imagine that he’ll soon be forgotten!

In various media over the past few days are reports the actor was sacked.

👀👀 did he do anything outrageous, or was he just as boring as his character?

The latter (sort of). I think there was nowhere for the character to go, long term. So yes, boring in soap terms but I liked him.

I've lurked rather than posting for a while, but it annoyed me so much today that Denise said she'd called the GP surgery and found out that Sam hadn't booked an appointment! It's like GDPR never happened in Walford 😂

For crimes against fashion??

Teddy was barely on screen for months so it was obvious he was not exactly flavour of the month. Whereas Harry has barely been off screen, he and Zoe are in practically every episode!

I was never sure how he was supposed to be fit in really. They couldn't decide if he was fully hard man, or just a bloke in a jumper.
