I agree about the teens and what they have to deal with. There's also Nugget (dialysis for a while after drugs and his grandad being a murderer) and Avani (videoed sex with Joel, abortion and then strip searched by police) whose mum and dad got back together but then after a nanosecond of halfway normal family life, their dad has been arrested for drug dealing. They also seemed about to lose their home because Lezbinan (as Avani called her when introducing her) and her wife want a home for an implausible new adopted child. What about a stable home for those teens?

Sam is such a flake and annoying.
She barely acknowledged her poor grand child and now after money from Jack to get herself checked out!
Will she try and rip off Nigel now too ?
I liked her before , but this is bad.
The writers must be on the mumsnet ‘ glue’ for someone to get a GP appointment straight away! I mean, who writes these scripts ?

Although Sam hung up the phone to the GP to pretend she had got through , she still got through straight away to someone and I doubt it was a private practice.

Would've loved to have seen Kim do the drunken Macarena 😆

I really hope Sam doesn't stoop so low as to swindle Nigel out of his money.

We last saw whispering Julie at the auditions last week, but I suppose she is at work now.
Phil should change his safe number / security too!

Who on earth thinks that they can get money out of someone for going to the Dr about a lump. And what idiot doesn’t go in Spain first just to make sure of what it actually is. I assume if you are permanently living in a country you have either insurance or access to state health care. Another completely ridiculous story.

The Sam storyline is a bit poor taste. ‘I’m dying!’ doof doof doof…then it turns out she’s found a lump and hasn’t even see a doctor.

George seems to have gone from ‘I ain’t the fah-va!’ to wanting to play happy families with Nic in one episode. I predict they’ll have shacked up together like a ‘propah family’ by Christmas and then Jumpers will be released and all hell will break loose when he finds George with his feet up on the sofa rubbing Nic’s baby bump.

Amazing how quickly Johnny-Sausage went from disgraced in his industry to running a high street (criminal) law firm. I’d much rather hire Richie if I was framed for murder (about a 50/50 chance of that happening to anyone in Walford).

Why are all the grown ups ignoring the fact Jean is in a major depressive episode and leaving teen mum Lily to deal with it? So many safeguarding red flags in Walford!

“Hand me £20k or I won’t go to the doctor about my suspicious lump” is pretty bonkers even for EE. Not sure how the actors are managing to say their lines with a straight face at this point.

Social services have given up on Lily :(
I do like how happy Ricky is , which makes a change, but he should really be more hands on with Charli and hear how stressed Lily is by it all as well. Nobody seems to be helping her

I just watched yesterday’s episode. Poor Barney. He goes to top o the list of teens with messed up lives. He’s even got a messed up brother, not a single reliable person in that family.

So weird investor is interested in Callum. Why???

This lump storyline is ridiculous. It's really insulting to write it this way. And the idea that you can ring a GP surgery and speak to a human within 10 seconds! Why do they always have to have Sam as the money grabber nowadays. She could be a good character if they allowed it.

I was surprised that Kathy didn’t mention to Julie or Phil that Nigel called Sam Clare , but at least she flagged it up.
Did she take the money ? I am hoping that she didn’t go through with any of gat in the end.

Surely we should be feeling sorry for Sam at this point except I don’t because she’s tried to fleece a friend she’s known all of her life which I think is out of character. Terrible writing again.

No, don’t feel sorry for Sam and I hope that Phil and Julie kick her into touch. Feel sad they have sent her character down the Janine route of bad :(

The charity ‘ st Lucys’ was calling her today. I hope that Ian has paid the money to them , what’s the betting he ‘ forgot ‘ ? Possibly because he is using Kathy’s money she wanted for the cabs and launderette !

I read that in the week of episodes for the last week of this month, Harry plots his revenge against Ravi. I wonder if that’s building up to a death as there’s usually a death in New Year’s Day.?

Harry is very good as the angst and guilt he feels just rolls off him. I don’t feel that Nicola totally gets it tbh.

How did Elaine get all that work done in a few weeks, it would have taken months. She clearly hasn’t got any permissions though so it is all going to go pear shaped.

Kim said she was going to fritter away the money on hideous tat ‘retail therapy’ so I don’t blame Patrick for insisting she gave it to Yolande. She didn’t even mention using it for her kids, who yet again are invisible.

So many people know about Harry killing Okie they may as well put it in the Walford gazette. So now Gina is a rehab centre spends her time running around looking for Harry (yes the actor is good but I am fed up with him and his cocaine).
