So Sam specifically went to London to steal money out of Phil's magic safe? Good job she managed to guess the code. Why the fuck didn't Phil just chase her!

Didn't Sam post a fat wodge of money in an envelope through Ricky's door last time she left the square?!? Was that Phil's money too (that she had got from blackmailing him over not telling his then wife Kat about his ONS with Emma)?

Makes me laugh that we never see Kim with her children at all. Even last week it was Howie doing the sandwiches for Pearl without the crusts.

Even Yolande looked a bit ‘ you won’t be giving 2k away Kim ‘ , but she may well remind her about it !
Considering she lost her big contract and hasn’t got Howie around to bring her stolen goods, she needs the money ( for Kats cocktails too)

The Spanish health care system isn’t that bad. Why didn’t she go and see a Doctor over there?

Because she didn't have the £20k in her bag! She would probably need to pay for Spanish healthcare. She could just have come back and got free treatment from the NHS like a normal person, but this is EastEnders...

It may have changed because of Brexit etc, but I’m sure there is a system where you can have health care over in Spain for free. It was like this years ago , but I admit I don’t know now.
She may prefer private treatment, but to come back to rip off your brother is ridiculous. What if his trusty safe had been empty,? Wasted journey ! 😂
None of it makes sense.

Ah ok, I heard her tell Jack “I’m dying” at the end of today’s episode so assumed it was terminal🙄 I think Peggy had breast cancer as well so at least there’s realistic continuity with this storyline as it does run in families.

I’m a bit confused re. the stolen money and if she genuinely stole it in order to set aside money for Ricky’s future. The fact she was fleeing with it all stuffed in her handbag suggests not. I can’t believe she flew back from Spain just to rob her brothers safe!

It seems that Sam has treatment in the UK. Which I understand people may choose to do , but you’d also try and see a GP in Spain first ( or whatever they have for primary care )

Sam was going to try to get a flight back business class with free drinks ( she told Kat as much ) so taking a chunk out of Ricky’s money already.
Jack and Jack around as usual , does he ever go to work ? His very part time isn’t he

I am not expecting Sam, the lump, the money, Ricky, and the flight to make any more sense than Zoe and Her Boy.

I was strangely disappointed that Dr Evil came up on Zoe's phone as Anthony not Antnee😆

With a restraining order from his wife that everyone is getting to know about as well. I mean , it’s enough to try and pay for a private consultation isn’t it !

Zoe looks like a woman who takes a lot of tranquilizers. You can’t wonder at it, but sometimes she seems to zone out of time and space. Maybe Antnee will try and drug her some more ! Not that we’d notice.

The teenagers on EE have a lot on their plates. Poor Barney. Mum pregnant from a one night stand, Dad going down for years, brother a smackhead. What next?

Cramp tree , I agree the teens and younger children on EE have a terrible time. Look how Lily has been left to cope and Ricky’s mum being hot and cold with him most of his life. Barney finding out his dad wasn’t jumpers after all. Plenty other examples of bad parenting around too. The list is endless isn’t it.

I can’t think of any teen who has had a relatively normal, trauma free life and doesn’t have a dead or criminal parent. I think Denzil has probably had it the easiest (although he has the obligatory feckless mum who dropped him off to Howie’s and never came back).

Yeah Zoe often looks spaced out (the actress must be bored with the atrocious script) and yesterday she was back to standing outside the house in her pyjamas of doom, narrowing her eyes and looking into the middle distance.

Oh God, I forgot jumpers wasn’t even Barney’s actual Dad! It gets worse.

I’ve discovered old EE episodes on ‘ analogue’ tv ( it went off on my freeview box , then I found out I could watch on this instead , u and drama it’s called)
Amy is a baby and Roxy is desperately trying to get back with Jack , who was actually not bad looking back then. To think she is now a teenager!
A very young slim Phil is sleeping with Dawn swann having a hot affair with her ( the cad and cadess!)
