We saw Liza very briefly, they had The Wedding That Wasn't as Alfie had asked a friend to pretend to be the official registrar ( IIRC it was David Williams) and he suddenly remembered "DOH. Alfie you wazzock . You're still MARRIED" .
Liza briefly dropped by and wasn't a vindictive " it'll cost you" like Rocky's ex. She was more " Good for you Alfie, I want to see you happy. Where do I sign" sort of ex wife 2be.

When did he marry Liza? Was it off screen?
I do remember the hoo ha marrying Kat ( first time )

But why would he need her phone number to find out about the ring? And find out what? If he needs to talk to her about it, he practically lives next door to her. It would bizarre to call her when she was just in the surgery talking to him about it.

The ring was a gift from her mother, so not sure Penny would know exactly what the ring looked like (unless her mother already showed it to her).

“Penny, I may be able to help you trace your missing ring. Could you get your mum to send over a photo of it?”

I loved Ian’s lack of interest in the Fords and Cindy😆

Jessie must be so fed up, all Kat does is stand bleating at Zoe and playing ‘guess the stalker’.

Howie is the stupidest criminal on the square which is saying something. Steal a ring from your neighbour and present it to your fiancee. Great work.

So Zoe was so scared by the DIE lights yet no one thought of taking them down. Easties I think they were just a string of lights made into the word.

I think it’ll turn out Jean just did the lights. She heard Kat say something like ‘one more thing and Zoe’s gone’ so did the 'one more thing'. But I am a very long way past caring.

Not sure I believe Penny and Kim have the same size fingers.

not a huge fan of Ian , but last Christmas he gave her his heart and her affair was exposed in front of everyone! No wonder he isn’t interested really
he did pick her up from the hospital though ( late)
most men may have let her rot ! lol

Cheat on Ian I mean

Cindy has always been Ian’s weak spot. I can’t believe he picked her up from the hospital and genuinely seems concerned about the Fords after all she’s done to him. But hey ho, he took her back after she hired a hitman, slept with his brother etc so guess anything goes.

@HighburyHope I get what you are saying but Antnee lives next to Penny and sees her virtually every day on the market so why not just ask her face to face. Plus she’d probably wonder how he got her number. Anyway I’m overthinking as Antnee annoys me😂

The Zoe stalker storyline isn’t exactly ‘Who shot Phil?’ calibre, is it? I really couldn’t care less if it was Tommy, Antknee or Jean at this stage.

But delighted to see that Pearl and Micah have been released from the kiddy cupboard! And that Pearl can talk!

Not sure about Peacock’s Palace. Sounds like a downmarket strip club.

Tommy didn't deny it was him, so I'm thinking Jean did the lights and Tommy did all the other things? Although didn't we see Anthony with those photos of Zoe, so maybe he is also involved - ie all 3 of them!

What a shambles of an episode. Jean is really starting to grate on me now. They need to resolve this stalker nonsense as nobody cares.

As PP said Penny and Kim having the same size fingers? There needs to be a dose of food poisoning to get rid of soon of these characters.

It was Tommy who brought Zoe back to Walford, and they have been shown as quite close since then so I cannot see any motivation for Tommy. Spoilers say he does have a 'secret' (of course) but it doesn't seem to be the stalking.

Peacocks Palace sounds like a rough bar you'd find near the docks, with sailors being chucked out onto the street.

I’m surprised that E didn’t call it ‘ droopy peacock ‘ or something a bit ‘carry on. ‘ Although it is meant to be an upmarket boutique place I guess.
Jean is being horrible ! So annoying

I wonder if Jean did the sign but the rest is being done by Lily but the photos in the card suggests not. I think I’m showing that I care 😂

It highlights all that is bad about the show at the moment. The never ending Zoe nonsense, and now Max. The producer seems laser focussed on these returns and everyone else plays second fiddle.

By the way I saw an interview with Shaun Williamson where he says that Debs (Nicola Duffett) also makes a return.

I’m surprised Shaun Williamson said that about Debs as I haven’t read about it anywhere so maybe he’ll get in trouble if it’s supposed to be a secret.

Ian isn’t hard up ! His house must be worth a fortune and he has two businesses and doesn’t exactly spend it on new clothes ! He will charge Lauren a lot of interest and love having a secret to blackmail her with too ;(

Is she going to appear in a hazy ether to carry Nige over To The Other Side ( on the railway tracks )....and Julie ( having an epiphany of clarity ) will lunge at the vision shouting "No , he's MY 'usband" and fall off the railway bridge .

More people returning then! The Deb story sounds a big mawkish , but I hope it’s not badly done.
