Malice on Prime

I have got some fantastic recommendations here over the years so want to return the favour.

Just finished Malice on Prime and its amazing. Cast is superb and just the right amount of suspense and plot twists. Jack Whitehall has reinvented himself with this one. Not a joke in sight!

I was actually surprised at how good JW was as a baddy. I hadn't heard anything about this show but really enjoyed it. If you like mind games stuff, try 'The Game' with Michael Douglas.

I too thought Jw was quite good in the role but not nearly as established as DD.

The plot was pretty thin though.

I loved the houses! I do like some ‘house porn ( as mumsnetters call it) and they were nice locations.
The infinity pool was gorgeous

I’m on episode 3 so far. OMG how much botox have David Duchovny and the mum had! They’re both struggling to talk clearly and their faces don’t move at all, really unattractive.

Done 4 episodes, Jack Whitehall will always be a draw for me. Nice to see Anna Wilson Jones as the ex wife - was acquainted with her family years ago (from my home town)
Its very addictive - Jamie and Nat are very easy to dislike - shallow - no redeeming qualities.
I do wish there hadn’t been sadistic animal cruelty though - cat and a dog so far. Whenever you see an animal on screen, your heart sinks as you know it’s inevitable that something horrible will happen 🥲

Loved the locations ! It wa very well filmed too

I’m on episode 4 and really enjoying it too. Anyone else willing JW to get away with it? 🙈

I enjoyed it too. It was fairly fast paced and the acting wasn’t too terrible. Nice to see DD back on tv too.

Have you watched Black Rabbit on Netflix? The Beast in Me is next on our list to start tomorrow so glad to hear it's good, it seems it will be.

We watched Malice this weekend, despite my husband saying how ridiculous it was all the way through I really enjoyed it 😂 He did too but kept pointing out plotholes like how did dad get the car keys for the car at the Greek villa when he'd previously been bashing the windows (sorry is that a spoiler?) etc. We also didn't find out whether they found D or not? Not that it really matters I suppose.

I thought it was really entertaining and the ending was refreshing, if not nice or typical of how these types of series usually end. It did have similarities in style and plot to The Girlfriend which I also enjoyed.

Yes it was great, very different to Malice but if you like drama and thrillers you might like it. Jason Bateman and Jude Law are superb (I thought).

Only on episode three, but I'm LOVING it. How has it only got 5.8 on IMDB? It's so good!
