I heard that they record Monday/Tuesday same day . Then Wednesday/Thursday on Wednesday but I might be wrong. With Friday being more live etc.

That makes sense then.

I came across an interesting program on Sky Arts.
It is 36 on my BT free view box thing.

The Battle of the Irish dancers.

It follows some Irish dancing schools as they prepare for the World Championship for Irish Dance.

It was really eye opening.
It is a 3 partner.
Started last night Tuesday at 8 pm .

I know someone who's dd was in an Irish dance team team i wonder if she is in it, ill have a look

Seeing Jay again reminds me that part of the joy of his jive was seeing a big fella succeed in a dinky person's dance.

And that he was a bit more thoughtful and interesting on ITT than a lot of the celebs.

I loved Jay. I didn't know who he was before Strictly but fell in love with his dancing. He also seems such a lovely person.

That was a really good ITT. I think Vicky was struggling with her dress, though....

Jay will dance with Jowita for his jive, but I think he would have been better matched height wise with someone like Lauren.

Danny Mac will dance with Nancy for that Samba.

The celebs will be involved in the group dance to Steps. Looking forward to this!

If it turns out that Chris/La Voix has to withdraw because of his injury, then I think they should cancel an elimination like they did when Nigel got injured.

And, of course, Faye From Steps (FFS!) is another brilliant Strictly finalist. I hope she breaks out the goats mid-song.

I saw him on stage in 2:22 and he was fantastic.

I can't agree about Amber, and not just because she is already a professional show dancer, but also because when she is acting being upset, or that she is finding some of the choreography difficult to learn, it seems to me that that is exactly what she is doing - acting. But if I am wrong - and I am very open to being so - I give her my abject apologies for judging her so harshly.

I totally agree with you about George and Lewis, but I think that I would choose Lá Voix as my third choice. For a fourth finalist, I do think that Karen is quite a bit of a better dancer than Balvinder, but I think Balvinder deserves to be at least a finalist after all the difficult weeks she has had!! But as I must concentrate on the fact that it is a dance competition, not a 'who do I feel most empathy for' challenge, Karen probably should go through to the finals. Of course, Alex is a great dancer too, so.....
But I do love George, if I was only 35 years younger 🤭

Ps. Vicky is the first person I have ever had a few sniffles about being eliminated, although I did feel very sorry for the now Lady Bath, when she didn't go through - quite a few years ago now!

I felt sorry for Vicky because of her anxiety and distress but I shan't miss her as I found her too over the top.

I agree with those saying La Voix is now the weakest. I think the judges were told to keep him in and sacrifice Harry after that rubbish foxtrot because the producers wanted him in Blackpool, so although I realise Chris himself must be horribly disappointed I can't help but feel they got what was coming to them.

I still miss Ellie and Vito. They were so joyous.

Karen and Carlos have a classic Paso track and should do well.
Lewis and Katya's Charleston will bring the house down.
Intrigued by Alex and Johannes' music and can't imagine what they'll do.
Amber and Nikita's song is VERY cheesy.
Balvinder and Julian's song is interesting. I think it'll be good in terms of acting at atmosphere, although I fear for her footwork and leg speed.
George's salsa will be cringeworthy. I wish they'd given him some decent Latin music instead.
