That dance with Diversity was one of the best I’ve seen on Strictly. It was very entertaining.

Yes! I loved it.

I see La Voix won't be dancing this weekend due to injury, what a shame it is never good when the celebs have to withdraw.

Just read the same. I am not disappointed as I don't find him entertaining/funny. I find the "comedy" too much. Shame Vicky lost out last week but the same can be said when Stafan withdrew with his injury.

I do feel for La Voix with it being Blackpool though.

Am already gutted for whoever goes this week when I was hoping if it would be Le Voix.

It will mean even more padding out with nonsense than usual then as they will have a slot to fill

Will be interesting to see who ends up in bottom 2 because as much as I like La Voix I would have assumed it would be them and Bal or maybe Alex going by the last couple of weeks.

Why won’t LV be dancing anyway, is he injured? Unless he’s actually unconscious they’ll probably manage to insert a least 2 vts of him into the show: in his hospital bed or on crutches on the prom.

What a shame! He'll be upset, Blackpool meant a lot to him. I hope he's recovered for the following week.
I'd like it if there were no eliminations, but I suppose that would change the whole tone of the show.

However you cut it, LV’s dancing is really not good enough to be still in the contest and the routines lack the compensating entertainment value in the way of Gangnam style. The “entertainment” is coming from extra scripted and stand up screen time outside the routines giving an unfair advantage over other contestants (and is getting repetitive).

There has been one routine I really enjoyed, for the first couple of weeks I really enjoyed the stand up quips. However the actual dance and routines have ranged from poor to middling. I think theatre jazz was a good choice for them last weekend but I can only assume the judges were not looking at the feet when they raved about the performance and scored it high.

Does this mean LV/Aliaj swerve the dance of death and get back to ballroom the week after? It is a shame when a dancer misses out on Blackpool however they got there.

They are unable to do non elimination rounds because of the Sunday show content with performances etc. Yes they are recorded but Olly Murs needs his exposure damnit!

LV isn’t my favourite but I bet he’s bitterly disappointed and I’m sorry for that. I hope he returns and doesn’t withdraw, because a 2-person final would not be compelling.

It's so often repeated on here, that LaVoix's performance "isn't good enough to still be in the competition", when clearly, it must be and/or he's getting public support, which is a factor in any success (see George, or many others).
LaVoix has only been in the DO once. You might not like him, you may never vote for him, but to think he is somewhow "undeserving" is completely illogical.

Every time I see Olly Murs I always feel like I'm stuck in a 2009 time loup.

I remember the year Rachel Stevens was taking part (2008/9?) they had a week near the end where nobody was sent home in order to preserve a three person final. Wonder if they'll do the same if LV has to pull out.

Its not illogical - its visible if you watch the dancing. Its not the worst in the original line up at all but it isn’t “second half of series” standard.

Its a reality show, the public reaction will be heavily influenced by the edit and screen time given to different contestants. The amount of extra screen time LV has received including little scripted vignettes is ridiculous. Its not the first time this has happened, when Angela Rippon “had to” make Blackpool she was getting the hero edit.

And yes YouTubers and sports stars with massive followings will have a fan vote carrying them through the early weeks and I don’t like it when that carries though over better dancers either. However the edit and the impartial gush from some judges along with inconsistent marking will affect both the public vote and the impact of the public vote.

I was predicting Bal and LV in the Dance Off. Could be an interesting weekend with LV out injured.

It's illogical, and yes, I do watch the dancing.

It's a light entertainment dance show.
You might not like it, but LaVoix is doing well.
Don't worry, he won't be in the final.

La Voix is the only one left with a bit of personality. The rest are fairly bland and yes some might think of this as a dancing competition, but it’s really a Saturday night entertainment show. I would rather watch La Voix have banter with Claudia than listen to monotone Karen and George

LV is nice enough and good fun at times, but he’s the weakest dancer now by quite some way, and definitely not the only one with a likeable personality imho.

Every year, weak dancers stay in longer than those showing promise. Every year. We often say that someone has gone "too early". Why? It wasn't a great dance, they didn't have the fan base, they weren't an appealing character. Whatever. That's the show. It's not "Got to Dance" or whatever show Lewis was a finalist in.

So with no LV , Bal will definitely be in a do again with (whoever ) which means she is very likely to be going .
I also think you should be eliminated if you miss a week this far in the competition or at least lose 5 - 10 points your next dance to make it more fair .

Yes, it's not a popular opinion on here, but I think he's funny and I like the banter! It stops the whole thing getting a bit intense.
