The mum of the family I babysat for would get me to record Peak Practice for her, so I ended up watching it and got far too in to it for a teenager. The last episode lovely doctor and stalking doctor went over the cliff together at lovely doctor's wedding. Then they cancelled it! Never got to find out what happened next.

i recall and think about that episode so much as it was broadcast the evening DD was born. I watched it in my hospital room, all cosy with her and revelling in new mum glow and then all hell broke loose as they went over the cliff!

The Sheila Grant storyline was earlier, right back at the start, it was her husband's friend IIRC. Minty or something. One of the best acted soap storylines ever IMO.

Along with who shot JR and the Line of Duty reveal I think the most I was enthralled with was the Dynasty cliffhanger at the European wedding massacre. Had to wait until the following season to know who survived and who didn’t!

I got extremely invested in The Killing.

As it turned out, the ending was rather over complicated and a little disappointing. But it was a huge relief to finally be reassured that the gorgeous Troels and his cheekbones were not guilty!

Oh yes! That was fascinating.

That’s got to have been the worst plot twist ever.
