A mother living through parents worst nightmare in this new eight part mystery thriller.

The tale begins when Marissa arrived at the home of her new friend Jenny, to pick up her son Milo following a play date.

However, she’s horrified when the door is answered by a stranger who tells her that Milo has never been at her house and she has no idea who he is.

Marissa is a working woman and a wife trying to balance it all but when she arrived at the house she finds it’s the wrong address and the phone number she used to arrange a play date if now not working.

Marissa had only just met the new friend Jenny, she thought was picking Milo up so she received a text claiming it to be from her and she thought it’s genuine

however Jennie the friend denies sending any text.

The blame keep shifting throughout the whole series and keeps everyone on their toes of who fault it is.

It was mostly filmed in Melbourne.

It's been years since I've seen Girls, was he a dick in that, because he has the vibe of playing really dickish characters quite well?

He was Hannah's boyfriend Fran in Season 5 when she was teaching, fellow teacher at the school. A Nice Guy type, bit of a dick but she was a lot of a dick so overall one of the least worst characters maybe?

He absolutely does. I’ve seen him in a film called “Significant other” and the character has that same uptight, negging air to him that he has in White Lotus. Can’t help thinking he’s playing himself most of the time!

Yeah, I found it and binge watched it all yesterday! Fell asleep during last ep so finished that this morning, but don’t worry I’m all 🤐🤐🤐 Often, for the ones that still drop weekly even on Now, I might watch the first ep but then forget and by the time I remember there’s usually a few episodes, so then I will normally wait for them all to be on then watch them all in one go. I’m really not good at weekly, I generally forget, and I don’t watch any live tv so wouldn’t have any idea about tv schedules anyway as I’ve only streamed for the last few years. It’s made me bored and impatient I think!

Im watching the second episode now after skipping a few comments above as afraid someone would spoil it.
Isn’t it supposed to be a commentary on women’s roles as mothers today? I think when her husband says (during the five year flashback when baby wasn’t sleeping) ‘just tell me what to do’ is just it in a nutshell. No I won’t do any research, I won’t take responsibility for finding a solution, but here I am willing to support YOU as YOU do the work to figure it out.

I’ve binged this over the last two days and really enjoyed it. It really gets you guessing and is nice and unpredictable!

I’ve just finished it. I could not have waited for weekly episodes!! I thought it was excellent. There were some adaptations from the book(also excellent) but overall it stayed true to the books ethos.

I binged it too. Started very well but I found it completely unbelievable and contrived by the end.
I can always watch Sarah Snook in anything though.

Watched it all now and it was alright, nothing amazing. Some of the actors didn’t improve. It would have been more effective with fewer characters and not as many episodes.
