A mother living through parents worst nightmare in this new eight part mystery thriller.

The tale begins when Marissa arrived at the home of her new friend Jenny, to pick up her son Milo following a play date.

However, she’s horrified when the door is answered by a stranger who tells her that Milo has never been at her house and she has no idea who he is.

Marissa is a working woman and a wife trying to balance it all but when she arrived at the house she finds it’s the wrong address and the phone number she used to arrange a play date if now not working.

Marissa had only just met the new friend Jenny, she thought was picking Milo up so she received a text claiming it to be from her and she thought it’s genuine

however Jennie the friend denies sending any text.

The blame keep shifting throughout the whole series and keeps everyone on their toes of who fault it is.

Edited

So very true!

And yes, a really really massive house... when she was running from room to room and along the corridors it felt like some sort of surreal never ending scene Grin

Smidge001 · 07/11/2025 21:28

Ooh she keeps ignoring the work calls. I feel she should answer any call in case it's the kidnapper.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2025 22:50

So who is this Carrie the nanny of Jenny

why would she kidnap milo

sure milo is a lovely name but I just think of the Tweenies when I hear it 😂😂

plus assume we have more deaths /murders as at end of e1 the police at 27 days so almost 4w of milo missing - he says he can’t imagine all these rich people killing each other

I'm enjoying it if nothing else for the MASSIVE house 😱

TeaRoseTallulah · 07/11/2025 22:55

I'll come back later as I'm 3 in already, can't watch weekly, I forget what's going on!

Peanutssuck · 08/11/2025 00:04

I'm not loving this so far - think it's quite poor acting tbh. What country is it supposed to be set in ? 🤔

America

America

Yes, the accents kind of give it away, don’t they.

SpaceRaccoon · 08/11/2025 09:17

Can I join in? Watched the first two episodes last night abd it really grabbed me. Love Sarah Snook, am a huge Succession fan and first thought she was brilliant in Predestination.
I love the houses. They seem to make child rearing very stressful for themselves despite all the money.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/11/2025 11:22

Anyone welcome @SpaceRaccoon as long as no spoilers if watch faster then tv pace

Seriously? Go away and start an argument somewhere else.

diddl · 08/11/2025 17:45

Yeah, the caps are annoying. Various people have told you this
😂😂😂

Anyone would think that no one else starts threads about tv programmes & posters are forced to read only Blondes threads!

berlinbaby2025 · 08/11/2025 17:52

I agree that some of the acting is poor - bit distracting really but the story is keeping me hooked. I’m up to episode four.

Freysimo · 08/11/2025 18:20

I love a pot boiler and enjoyed first episode. Intend to binge watch so won't comment further.

ChicOliveCritic · 08/11/2025 20:17

I've just binge watched it all. It is a slow burner. I had to keep watching to ensure that miscreant got what they deserved!! I would say more but that would give it away. It is worth watching to the end. The relationship dynamics between the siblings by the end of it is so tragic. The houses are gorgeous. I wish we could have seen more of Dakota Fannings house. Enjoy. 📺

The husband who was in the first season of White Lotus, is giving young Donald Trump when he was married to Ivana 🤭.

Boxingshibes · 08/11/2025 22:16

He's in Girls as well, really good in that.

EachandEveryone · 08/11/2025 22:44

It feels Australian but they are all American,

SpaceRaccoon · 08/11/2025 22:47

I think the setting is stunning. Chicago is beautiful.
